So it's Delores Mk1, Delores Mk2 mod1, Delores Mk2 mod 2, Delores Mk 3, Delores Mk 4 versus the world.
And Maeve vs. Sato would make it appear that this is in the real world and not a simulation.Teddy Perkins said:
And the mirror imagery from Ep 3 was pointing to copies the whole time. Glad we got an awesome reveal in at the halfway point.
Yup. And Serac referring to the nuke in Paris confirmed it as well, IMO.Robert C. Christian said:And Maeve vs. Sato would make it appear that this is in the real world and not a simulation.Teddy Perkins said:

So why would the yakuza boss look exactly like the host from shogun world?

What is the pin in the neck for - did I miss that? Hale put it in Ed Harris and it's referenced in next week's episode with Aaron Paul.
If it's the same purpose of getting the banking guy's blood she needs his blood for a step of authentication to access accounts. That said, Dolores took a lot more just to have 20 minutes to access Dempsey's bank account.oragator said:

It implies that she can't manufacture pearls, not that she can't copy host programming *to* a pearl.
Either way, bet accepted. In the age of social distancing, we can still handshake virtually, right?
Looks like they handled the reveal pretty damn well...and quick!Teddy Perkins said:
The "you belong to me" line is what made me think she copied her pearl and what steered me away from Abernathy and Teddy. If that theory is right it'll be interesting to see how they handle the actual reveal.

Also a timeline question. We've already seen Hale telling the board she wants to take the company private and having Williams votes from an AI proxy.
So was everything in tonight's episode before that?

I'll tell you this much... I love the twist. And that this story is going to be about what makes up an identity. If you can just copy Delores over and over, then there is no humanity to Delores. But, if you take Delores, then go place her in other bodies handling other events and experiences, do they develop into new people separate and distinct from THE Delores? If so, then are the real?
Fascinating. Can't wait for a Delores copy to double cross THE Delores.
