Crazy how some people in the stands have jackets on and the pregame crew had jackets on. Meanwhile, in my college game last night, I'm seating my balls off with kickoff "feels like" temps at 108 degrees. It was miserable.

21 goals last season (most by an Arsenal player for six years), in his first season, with no preseason with the team, with his midfield injured most of the season, with pretty limited service because of how the wingers like to play. Arsenal were also doing whatever it took to get three points for a large potion of the season, which wasn't very conducive to your striker scoring a lot of goals.


Kai scores a lot of goals as well…just can never stay healthy. We need both

Kai scores a lot of goals as well…just can never stay healthy. We need both

Kai is a very capable scorer but like you said he seems to pick up knocks often. My biggest issue with Kai as a 9 (and technically as the primary starter).... (a) he tends to go down too easily and (b) he ventures out of the box far too often.

100% agree we need 2 strong ST for rotation. If Vik isn't cool with that (rumors that he's been shopping himself) then I am ok selling him for a profit and buying someone new. However, I do not want Alvarez. I'd much rather go for someone that is u23, 6'+ and either blazing fast or a solid mix of strength and speed.

If Real has any legit interest in Zubi he may want to consider that move hard. When everyone is healthy, MLS is gonna make it hard for him to get on the field a ton.

I wonder if VG not playing today means there is some truth to him shopping himself to Barca. Mikel has a tendency to sit player who are trying to leave when he wants them to stay (Gabi Saudi rumors 2 yrs ago)

I have just discovered this thread.
I'm a huge gunners fan. Been following for years.

So excited for this season. Roster is stacked. Tzolis looked great. Team cruised today.

If we get Sliba healthy and another LW, we may run away with the PL.
