Seems like a reasonable deal. I'm not a big Ligue 1 watcher but the numbers look like a guy struggling to to make the next step. I know he's had some injuries. But this is the kind of flyer on a young guy I asked for the other day.

Now here is a question. 40m on Fofana (probably fairly low wages) or 60m on a PL proven Ndiaye (with probably significant wages)

I have some reservations about Fofana's ability to handle the physicality of the league but I would take him over Ndaiye. Ndaiye's highlights are impressive but his output doesn't match. He is also 26..... not gonna get better. To me he is a squaddie. He isn't better than Tzolis and would only play situationally. Fofana has far more potential and I would rather a squaddie with potential.

Between HoA & Mokbel, I'm guessing Fofana is Berta's idea but Arteta isn't sold





If that is the case, I don't think I would spend the money. If Mikel doesn't want him he won't play and then we will sell him for a loss in a year or 2.
