When you continually have trouble beating really bad teams, the blame has to mostly go to the coaching staff. These teams aren't tactically dynamic. It should be very easy to plan to both defend their attack and vice versa. How on earth we're still so slow against these horrible teams that put numbers behind the ball is beyond me especially when you have at least 3-4 starters who are technically proficient or who are above average goal providers.
And I don't care if Pogba is hurt. Starting Fred and McTominay against is shocking. Perfectly understandable against City. Unacceptable against West Brom. And to make matters worse, he kept them in for 75 minutes. If VdB can't get more than 15 minutes against West Brom when Pogba is hurt, then just sell him in the summer. There's no way back for him.
