To add one more 3 Rivers post, I lost to Ms. Hulla 2-1 in last night's friendly. She scored 2 goals on 5 shots.

So knowing that my team will pretty much win easy, I moved my reserve starters up for the day, will have them play so as not to injure my starters, and will let my guys that rarely play get some time in.
Bad news is, I'm in last place with the group's worst GD.
Good news is, I'm only one point away from the playoff zone. I'm grasping at straws but if I can scrape together a few wins, I have a shot.

Still in last-place, thanks to a late goal that made it 0-1.
Now my reserve team actually has more points than my senior squad. This season sucks.

Using my reserve worked fine, 24-0 win. My extreme backups, who played the reserve game, only lost 3-0. Highest ASI, other than my backup keeper, was in the 100s. Keeper made 22 saves.
Sounds like it's rough for Ags all around this season.
Kairos FC is middle of the table after starting off a blazing pace. Kinda frustrating as we've still got a +5 GD and one of the lowest goals against in the league, but we've lost six matches 1-0.

I'm humping it along at 4th place. Could be able to grab 3rd next league games since 3 and 5 are playing and I play a bum. Getting to 1st will be real tough, second is outside chance. 3rd-4th is likely. I'm starting to separate from the 6-8th group though I tied the 7th place team last night when I equalized in the second half.
Don't lose hope. After the first quarter of Season 16 I was second-to-last and was at the bottom of the table for most of the season. As of today, however, I'm in 4th, only 3 points behind the 1st place team whom I beat just last week.
I had to go through lots of scheme changes in the process, but found one that appears to fit my lineup well.

Aggie Arsenal and I play in a day or two and it should be a good battle, 4th and 5th place in our division currently.
I managed a win last night against the 2nd place team and moved into second to last...woohoo. I think I'm going to employ the ridiculous 3-6-1 formation for a while just because it's the only way I can get a respectable amount of possession against superior midfields. Besides, my strikers suck anyway so I'm not losing much by putting one starter on the bench.
I had moved into first in my group a week ago and now the goal production has dried up. I've fallen back to 7th, but only five point out of the lead.
crap... I just got swept home and away in the season series with the worst team in my group. Of his 3 wins, 2 came against me. :/

Solidifying my lead at the top of my group over the last couple of rounds. The closest team is 4 points behind, with the 3rd place 9 points behind. So, lots of seperation to provide for a late season slide if it happens.

I finally won a US Cup game tonight! (Only took me four seasons.)
My star striker missed a PK in the first ten minutes of the game, we go down 0-1 early but then rally back to advance by the score of 3-1. Great day for the Dukes!

nice, I won too, 5-0 over N. Texas United, I'm 7-1 all time in the cup now, my B team couldn't rally, and went down 2-1

2-1 Cup win in extra time. I'm feeling like a brilliant manager as I brought in my blazing fast striker (who hasn't been starting) to line up against a slow left back for them...and he scored both goals

Managed to take first position in the TexAgs FL last night, despite the fact that I have only scored three goals in four games.
I also actually won a league match over the weekend to crawl out of last place. Barely.

I lost my league match 1-0 last night for I believe the sixth time this season...geez. Still comfortably midpack and only a win or two out of contention.

That means only one more round till I enter the Cup. A nice run in the Cup would ease the pain of relegation...which is looking fairly likely.
My game is against another Aggie squad. I have 2 players serving a ban and one out with an injury. I'll hope for the best.
playing another 5th division team tonite who has remained in the 5th division for a few seasons... i don't know if that is good or bad to have him as an opponent.
