oneman, you were playing at their stadium, weren't you? happens a lot, I scored in the 85th last night only to have them equalize in the 91st. losing to the third place team isn't too bad, the game has its ups and downs.
I'm having scoring issues as well, though I have been spending some cash and getting some GREAT deals on players recently. I'm finding it challenging to keep to the 5 foreign players in your lineup rule, however.

I have scoring issues and an injury bug. My starting GK went down today along with my starting LM and 2 defenders got red cards. Guess it doesn't really matter since it seems all my team can do is either tie or loose 1-0. I need some of these youngsters to develop fast.
I'm going to be honest, I haven't logged into my trophy manager team in about 3 weeks. I've been too busy playing buzzerbeater and grid-iron. They're way more fun.
well losing to the third place team isn't as bad as getting toasted (0-4) by the last place team at home, which as happened to me before.... lol!
I continue to be average at best in division 2. There's a very real chance I'll be in division 3 next season.
I am slowly climbing back up the table after my 5-game league losing streak. I am actually aiming for third, as I need at least another season or two in D4. The majority of my team is still players created in D6 last season. They have no business in D3.
My team is tanking at the moment. We can't score to save our lives! We were eliminated from the US Cup last night by a lower level team in extra time. My productive players just aren't producing!
My guys are finally starting to come around. Lit it up with a 4-0 win on Saturday, then held on for a 3-2 win in my cup match yesterday.
Not so great is that I had TWO ejections, one second caution and one straight red. ouch.

I hear you with not being able to score. It's like pulling teath for me. Getting lot of shots on goal, but not finishing well. In addition, in my cup game, I played on a "b" league field and lost 2 starters to injury. With the addition of 1 to card accumulation, I'm not left with many options.
I got scored on on a freekick last night, which is pretty unheard of from what I understand. M keeper then saved a penalty, I equalized, then converted a penalty, only to have them equalize in the 88th minute. actually not a bad result away against one of the best teams in the league though, especially missing my starting DMC and DC.

I am also having problems finishing. My two forwards were finishing everything at the beginning of the season, but recently things have changed. I have been dominating possession and getting more chances, but still losing or drawing.

I've moved up to second in my division, positioning for the late season run. I am getting kinda addicted to buying players tho...it's oddly fun...
how much should i expect to get for this player? I figure right now cash to upgrade things is a bit more important than having this player...

just sold 100 mil + in players... Probably shouldnt have transfered my to MC who was just 25, but i like what i got going right now. I picked up some much cheper, almost as good players and still have yet to give up a goal in lg 6.11 play (only scored 4 in three games though)... Im finding it really, really hard to get a quality Forward, however, I hope i solved that problem with signing a 30 yr old forward who had a TREXMA of 61 for only 4 mil. So hopefully that helps my scoring woes.
Forwards are usually the most expensive players on the transfer list. If you want a really good one, you are going to have to shell out some major coin.

True dre, but you can come by some decent guys for the lower divisions and occasionally get some good deals. It can also help to buy foreign there.
I'm moving up and am currently 1 point out of first in 5.55...we'll see if I can pull it out.
For some of your upper division guys, what sort of schedule have you upgrade your training grounds on? I've got several 13* rated and one 16* rated youths that I want to develop well, TG is at level 4 right now.

I wouldn't subscribe to a schedule really. As long as you can pay your maintenance and salary costs with your incoming revenue, I'd keep expanding your TG and YD. That rule doesn't work as well in the higher divisions but should work very well for divisions 4 and 5.
Yea, i found ways to land some rather cheap foriegn players that have kept me at the top of LG 6.11 despite haveing my best American player hurt. Im running out there in an attacking 5-3-2 with the strength of my team being the veteran backliners with low ASI but high TREXMA and some very quality DML/DMR players. Im really just worrying about having a strong Back line and midfield as i currently have two passable forwards.

Well, I finally bought Pro today. Funny time to do it since I have been spending less time in the game recently, but I thought I'd give the B-team thing a shot.
blalockAg, I've got four coaches right now and i'm thinking maybe I could use five...six seems kinda high though, especially considering your training grounds probably aren't that high.
and I'm happy to say I knocked off the top team in my division and took over the lead by two points with three matches left...one point in my last three will clinch promotion for me.

I'm back in first, but only two points clear. I have really mixed feelings about possibly winning the division. I really need more time in Div. 4 and don't think getting my ass kicked every week next season will be that much fun.
