I use the diamond alot as well. If you have the personnel it works pretty well. You need OMC and DMCs though. And sometimes it can be exposed by top teams running more a stronger center midfield. Up the middle tough it works well. 3-5-2D also is something to run with alot of OMCs and DMCs, but it can be exposed by good wingers.

I don't have a truly good OMC or DMC, so I've pretty much stuck with a true 442. I've also used a 433 with some success since I have three very decent FCs.

I use to run a 3-2-3-2 but I'm weak at forward and the ML is tough so I moved to a 3-3-3-1. It's working OK...relatively speaking.

coming into the last 3rd of the season my season looks like it won't end in promotion but I've put myself out of relegation conversation.

I now have 6 starters out and my two most productive goalscorers out for 5 and 3 weeks. With only 13 games left and me fighting to make up 4 points for promotion i don't think it's going to happen. It's fine though cause I'd get murdered in div 3.

good luck to everyone for the final 3rd of the season and in the cup.

There is a friendly league, but we are in the middle of a season.

Just remember getting them more games doesn't do anything other than discover how they play in a different position.

friendlies don't help with routine. Only league and cup games build routine.

Recover what? Recovery from injuries is what your medical center does. You might want to upgrade it if that is a problem.

Read what I wrote. Literally, the ONLY thing you get from friendlies is seeing how guys may perform at a different position. Not a bad thing necessarily if you like to mix it up.

nope, all they do is allow you to test out some hidden talents like adaptability and see how the squad does in different formations.

only league games count towards recovering.

This is why I've gotten to the point where I don't schedule many friendlies. You can try different things out but it only does you any good if you play a team comparable in ability to your own.

are you referencing TMtool or TM manager? they changed some code in the site roster that has impacted the ability to port the rosters into some of the out of game tools.

TMtool is no longer supported and so I assume that this move will finally kill it. Too bad, it was handy to have.

I'm assuming that TM manager will get fixed as soon as Adducci (sp?) figures out what was changed.
