Tonight on "Lethal Weapon" the series on Fox, Martin Riggs who used to live in Texas, now in L.A., is talking with a grocery store owner from Austin. The grocery store guy (who turns out to be the bad guy) is telling a joke, "how is a longhorn like a possum? They both play dead at home and die on the road". Riggs comes back with, "what do you get when you cross a groundhog with an Aggie? Six more weeks of bad football..."

A fictional LGBT character named Cole (played by Sebastian Sozzi) from the TV show, Fear the Walking Dead was a student at A&M and stated that while he was there he spent more time smoking, but he still studied plants and learned which ones are safe to eat. The character is already dead from the TV show and had only 5 episode appearances.

In the movie "I can only Imagine" the main characters dad is drunk while watching an A&M football game in early fall or late summer when the kid returns from summer camp. I can't remember who the Ags were playing in the short clip. But it appeared to be an early 80s era game which correlated with the movies setting. The dad was a washed up Former SmU football star.

On the show Ultimate Beastmaster (a Netflix knockoff of Ninja Warrior), in season 2 episode 5 one of the competitors is shown working out in Spence Park during his brief into clip. Not sure if he's actually an Aggie or just from College Station.

The TV show Ballers on HBO has an episode with were A&M was playing LSU in the background TV during a meeting between Charles and Seifert. I'll have to find the right episode, but it was season 4. Also during the show there are references to Ryan Tannehill (since a majority of the show is based on the Miami Dolphins).
