Just found a great A&M reference in pop culture... Considering where I found it and that this is a Texas A&M message board, I doubt it is on here already. Might not ever be (lol).

In the most recent Noam Chomsky documentary, Requiem For The American Dream (haha told ya), there is a scene around 58 mins in where Reed Arena is plastered over several TVs on display in a store. If I weren't a Former Student that loved Aggie hoops I may not have noticed but it's Reed. Can see the Block T with the star in the middle of it, maroon outlined court, and "Aggies" on the baseline. The "Aggies" is a little blurred but it's definitely Reed Arena. Looks like a more recent game too as the court is the lighter colored wood and not the brown stain that we used to have in the mid-2000s.

I thought it was pretty cool. Especially given it's Noam Chomsky and the popularity of this documentary around the world.

Gig Em, MIT.
Oh great. We're in a documentary of an anti-Semitic communist. I feel so proud.

He's been brought up before in this thread I think. He's posted here before, maybe earlier in this thread.

'Hell or high water' a 2017 Oscar nominated movie with Jeff Bridges...... when the two brothers go to the casino to wash some of their robbery cash. One brother goes to the bar to "watch the Aggie game". There is one other reference in the movie where Toby mentions that his cousin plays(ed) at A&M.

Yup, and Jeff Brige's character was a tu fan. Pretty sure that was a not so subtle metaphor in the movie.

Javier Pena who is depicted by Pedro Pascal in Netflix's Narcos is a real life Aggie who helped get Pablo Escobar.
Also,

Here are two rings that look like they could be Aggie rings in the fourth episode (30 minutes and 44 seconds in) on Netflix. They seem to be of DEA agents in archive footage.
I'm not positive if they are or not.
Edit: turns out I didn't scroll down far enough on the biography I read for Javier Pena. The first header said he was educated at Texas A&M, then the body of the biography said Texas A&I in Kingsville. The rings above still look like they could be Aggie rings.

I've noticed that guy in the movie too, bigger dude that says something about the typhoon warning near the recovery zone?

I've always wondered if that for sure was an Aggie ring, I've paused it but it's never been clear enough to tell for sure. I just kind of assumed it was a military ring like from West Point or something.

Not sure about guy in movie, but in real life there are/were a ton of Ag flight controllers since first shots. RIP US manned space flight...

There was an Aggie named Gerry Griffin who was actually a flight director during the Apollo days. A flight director is the same level as somebody like the more well known name Gene Kranz. Griffin was the flight director during the launch of Apollo 12, which was hit by lightning during the launch ascent. Griffin was also one of a rotation of flight directors during Apollo 13, although Kranz (Ed Harris in the movie), gets most of the name recognition.

Deandre Jordan was the guest star on Modern Family:

Manny (Rico Rodriguez) is from College Station and a die hard Aggie fan, so hopefully he got some face time with Deandre.

I finished watching all of Mad Men and they mentioned going to see Texas A&M playing Alabama in Cotton Bowl. A Google says Bob Benson was telling Don Cooper about it. It was in season 6, but I don't remember the episode. I don't watch a lot of shows on Netflix but Mad Men was incredible from the first to the last season. Exciting they included us in such a quality show.
