I saw demolition permits for two of the buildings for the LaQuinta off Texas (unfortunately it wasn't for the whole property). The two buildings are the ones south of Live Oak behind what used to be Rice Garden. Ag Shacks is the one with the demolition permit, so I am guessing more Ag Shacks are going up there. That hotel is such an eye sore, so anything will be an improvement.

That lot is too deep for just lining up like what they did off Holleman but probably not deep enough for two rows and an alley. Curious as to how it will be configured.

I'm convinced the sky bridge is a plant that they plan to delete and point at cost savings. It's too absurd for anything else - even for OPM Duane.

Also - some one help me here. Is the 34 million including the purchase price of the land or just the post purchase cost to the GC and design? I have not been able to dive deep enough to figure that out. I just get too nauseous at the $1550.

Peet's or PJs ??? Not sure I've ever seen a Peet's other than in an airport.
They have coffee shops in California at least. The first Peet's I went to was in San Francisco on vacation, (back when the sidewalks weren't littered with human excrement, but I digress). This was before I was into good coffee and I remember thinking it was the best cup of coffee I had ever had, which at the time, it was. We mail-order their coffee a few times a year and Santa Claus always makes sure there is some in my stocking.
