That drive thru is a joke. It might be slightly tolerable if the tacos were remarkable but the tacos are pretty standard.
I actually think their breakfast tacos are the best south of downtown Bryan. I don't really go there for lunch much so can't comment on that, but if you haven't tried their pork verde taco, I highly recommend....australopithecus robustus said:

Has it been discussed the huge amount of earth moved at 21 & OSR? Looks like a gravel pit or mining operations. I would have expected land that close to RELLIS turn into a subdivision or something eventually.

That is annoying. I have to park and go in sometimes to pick up.
I've suggested to them that the drive-thru be call-in only since most people do not plan ahead for anything.

I like the cheese Mi Familia uses. Their green sauce has a creaminess (similar to Gringos green sauce) to it and just the right amount of heat. La Familia is good too, and agree their drive thru is a plus and needs to be for call ahead orders. And that "house" behind it is an eyesore
Met some folks at the new The Owl bar in downtown Bryan (from Jake of RX Pizza). Nice addition to town.
We went to the Owl tonight. Very small menu as they are starting out but the place has a nice vibe to it. Prices are very fair. I think they will do well.

Yeah I've tried the pork verde. The issue is the value and quality for me. Limp, thin bacon and not enough filling most of the time. Fuego is way, way better.

Not good. My doctor sends his patients there for all sorts of x-rays, cardiac stuff, etc.
I hated dealing with Caprock and had decided we'd never go back.
We are really sad to hear about Caprock closing. We have used them probably a dozen times over the years and they are our go-to ER when needed. They are also the nearest urgent care/ER to our house so it was great knowing we had a place "Right down the road".
We've received nothing but great service and care there. It's too bad that a company that provides such a great service can't make a go of it in this environment. Wishing the best for all the employees as they look for new jobs.

I thought Don Adam was the backer when Caprock was formed so I know they had plenty of capital I assume with St Joseph and S&W building something new every year or so competition was just too much, and it is not a big enough community to support all of them
