I know we discussed it before but I can't remember where they bought the sign. I don't remember if they had the hat last year or not.

A very recent council approved the Instagram prop and has doubled and tripled down on it being a good expense because it got awards in some magazine nobody ever heard of that nobody ever reads.

Commercial lot just north of the Greens Prairie-Royder intersection sold after years on the market. Supposedly there's a gas station going in, but I haven't seen anything to substantiate that.

Sounds like the costs were getting way out of hand on that tennis facility and the city wisely chose to end it. They didn't go out and buy part of a mall or something.

That's a huge lot for a gas station. It's about twice the size of the big Chevron in Wellborn and three times the size of the 7-Eleven up at Highway 40 and Wellborn Road.

I hope this is a false rumor, because I live very near that lot.
I was told a few years ago that there are multiple underground utilities going through that lot. Heavy infrastructure cost to develop it.
