Forty-five rattlesnakes were found living under the home of a Texas man who called a pest removal service after seeing 'a few' of the critters.
Nathan Hawkins, owner of Big Country Snake Removal, recounted the unusually busy day at work in a Facebook post with an 18-minute video of the job that will make your skin crawl.
Hawkins said he was called to a family home outside of Albany, about 150 miles west of Dallas, last week by a man who had crawled under the structure to investigate why the cable had gone out.
When he went to look for himself, Hawkins said: 'I could immediately see that there was far more than a "few".'
The company ended up removing 45 snakes from under the house, the longest of which was five-and-a-half feet long.
In the video, several of the snakes appeared quite irritated about the disturbance at their winter home.
According to Hawkins, the family - whose identity withheld - was stunned by the discovery given that they rarely saw rattlesnakes in their well-kept yard.
'We run into this scenario often, and people don't think it can happen to them,' he wrote in the Facebook post.
'Rattlesnakes don't care how nice your house is or what kind car you drive- they care simply about survival.'
Now these folks will have to call the exterminator again for their upcoming mouse problem.
