Just caught this one crossing the road. Not a great pic. I was driving the side by side and the wife said she'd get a pic as I was digging for my phone. Taken in Sargent TX.

Are the copperheads eating adult cicadas or targeting the larva as they come out of the ground? I don't know much about cicadas, I thought they all came out of the ground at one time in early summer but do the larva keep coming out of their burrows throughout the summer?MouthBQ98 said:
Caught 2 last night. 1 in a trap, 1 with my tongs. Got a few pics. Run of the mill young copperheads. I think they were enjoying the cooler weather while on their cicada hunts.
