I believe you have mentioned this before but you stage these little guys for your pictures correct? I just dont understand how you can handle a rattler enough to get them to "sit like a good boy"12f Mane said:
Went to west Texas for a weekend to chase snakes. Pretty slow overall. Definitely the time of year where a lot of activity is low for much of Texas
Prairie rattlesnake
Mexican hognose
Striped whipsnake
Mojave rattlesnake
Western diamondback
Rattlesnakes are generally cooperative for photos because they stand their ground. These three in particular we found on the road, moved them to the side of the road with a pair of tongs, and stayed in front of them until they gave us a pose.cpsencik04 said:I believe you have mentioned this before but you stage these little guys for your pictures correct? My request is in the future have someone film you or wear a go pro and let us see how the master works...I think we would all appreciate the view!
There's a few decent YouTube herpers if you get really bored.CowtownAg06 said:
I'd watch a live stream of him looking for them. That would be awesome.

Saw this guy swimming towards the mangroves in Naples, FL. I think this is a salt marsh snake. I haven't seen this species in the thread, so I thought I'd share even though the image quality is terrible.
