Saw 4 deer this weekend maybe that is an omen of things to come!!

In my defense today, if we don't get something it's because I have a neighbor about 600 yards away chopping down trees with a chainsaw apparently. We'll see if it bothers the critters.

A lot of times in my hunting pictures you have to use your imagination and think what a deer or hog would look like in it.

I've been out all season and have seen a small 8 and a bunch of trash. My dad sits in the stand for one night and called me afterward to say he saw 20 bucks, 3 shooters, and one massive wall hanger. Guess I am checking out of work early the rest of the week,

Have the rest of the year off from saved vacation and am hunting by myself. Debated going by myself but I am glad I went.

This morning:



Went two for two on Aoudad at a very remote location. Loading these things was EXTREMELY difficult! Good to help thin out our herd and am actually tanning one hide and donating the meat.

This evening:

Sow was feeding on the aoudad and rolled up in my truck with all lights off and sunroof open. Crawled out the top and she was caught off guard when the light came on. She had no chance.

Have some pretty good GoPro and camera footage of the whole thing. Will post later.
