18 hours and no identification yet. Legal status, criminal record, and whether he was being watched for any reason are all fair questions that should have answers already. They knew all this within a few hours last night, guaranteed

Law almost always knows quick. It then becomes about running down leads, family, accomplices, etc. Having covered my fair share of these, the worry is usually scaring away witnesses/accomplices by publicly stating names before they have everything they need to (1) charge accomplices or (2) find a motive. Because people will clam or bolt if too much is out too quickly.

Why is it that in RED Colin County in RED Texas that they are keeping a lid on his identity?

I doubt that Collin county is calling any shots at this point. The FBI has taken this deal over nearly immediately.

It takes time to scrub social media and hide the truth.

Just fyi, even if they wanted to, the police where he lives do not have access to working computers right now so they can't scrub anything (as if police give a FLYING F) what someone's social media looks like. Some of you get so caught up in your own narratives that you forget how police & military tend to vote
Someone on reditt claims that ATF was at the guys house as well. Poster says he lives on the street and knows the name of the guy but wont post it for fear of getting banned by reddit.laavispa said:Interesting questions.Quote:
Relevant information the public should know:
1) was this was an individual on the FBI's watch list that they failed to jail as so many other mass shooters have been.
2) if this individual was a violent felon released on bail when he shouldn't have been or an individual charged with crimes that a lax DA refused to prosecute.
3) if this individual shouldn't have been in the country at all.
To add, WHY is the FBI on the case so soon? As reported ' The FBI have raided the dead suspect's home, following the massacre '. Seems mighty quick for fed involvement.

I'm well known around here for stepping back and closing one eye at such things, but put me in the "WTF????" club on this one. Something is rotten in Allen.DannyDuberstein said:

Calling my shot…he's a disgruntled ex-security guard that worked at that mall, parents are illegal and he's an anchor baby that's been in and out of the justice system several times. Pure speculation, because that's what message boards are for.
