And we keep parading the mental health subjects as "heros". The shooter wasn't a victim. He was a piece of **** that thought he was a hero. I'm glad he has a skylight in his forehead. He should have kept his problems to himself instead of looking for glory on social media.

My assumption is the amount of weapons and clips on the assailant, and who knows what else they may have found in his car, have them further investigating if others were involved, is he part of a group, was this premeditated? His picture dead on the ground is out there…someone will recognize his car and his body soon.

Guys, I think we should all just quit with the semantics and speculation of race, motive, etc... and remember that several innocent people are dead, including children. Some parent or sibling or child lost their loved one today. Have some decorum.

The beauty, and ugliness, of immediate message board information is that it all has to be taken with a grain of salt. It could be ironclad truth. It could also be uninformed trolling.

I live less than 5-6 miles from this shooting and have learned more about this incident on this board than any single news source so far. Some of that is going to come with speculation and discussion from people with a similar background and largely common interests. That's why i'm here

This incident reminds me of the shooting at the Chicago festival. I think it will follow that pattern. Thats my guess.

WFAA: FBI went to home of suspected Allen, Texas mall shooter after shooting today. Home is in Dallas, where suspect lived with his parents. Neighbors described suspect as quiet, kept to himself, sometimes exhibited unusual behavior.

Alleged shooter may be hispanic. I'd say between 27 and 35 years old. Looks short. Probably around 5'6". Maybe 180 lbs. Had on dickies and an old style button-down windbreaker. Looks to have had around 10. 30-round mags along with hard body armor. I doubt he could move very fast with all that on. Looks really heavy to be walking around in with the dudes body frame.
