This whole notion that this guy was a Hispanic white supremacist is so ridiculous that no one should even consider it a possibility without evidence.

This is a ridiculous discussion, publish the evidence so people can decide for themselves. Until then, this is just gaslighting.

We're about to have a major invasion at the border. Yes I know it's been happening for a while and ramped up under Peepaw but it's about to kick into high gear.

The last thing the administration needs is a story about a Mexican gang banger killing a bunch of innocents so voila, RWDS and now we have a stupid debate on whether a Mexican can be a white supremacist.

This is just another in a laundry list of shiny baubles the media wants the public to look at instead of the real problems facing this country.

They LOVE when we're distracted by this or transgender outrage or anything other than skyrocketing inflation, border invasion, and lawlessness across this country fueled by Soros appointed DA's.
Very good post.

I'm still waiting for all the liberal outlets to begin posting photos of this made up RWDS patch from anonymous sources. They haven't posted any photos becuase the patch doens't exist. it's a made up lie to distract. All this talk about can a mexican be a white supremacist is exactly the point of fabricating a story about a fake RWDS patch. And it's working....

It's a legit patch.

However, I'm waiting on the actual proof of right wing extremist views and white supremacy ideology, social media posts, website subscriptions, etc.
How is it a legit patch? I know RWDS is legit and they have a patch. I'm saying show me proof of the patch on the shooter? What outlet, what site, what anything has shown a photo of that patch on the actual shooter? Did I miss something? Far as I can tell, that type of patch actually being on the shooter is a fabricated story. CNN / MSNBC would showing photos of that patch on the shooter if the patch was actually on the shooter.

Well that's different. How was I to determine that you were talking about a physical patch on his body based off the original post?

That said, I agree with you. I have yet to see this RWDS patch on his body or clothing.
That's the thing. How many pics have you seen?

0. I've studied the pictures closely and can't see anything that resembles a patch.

I also have not seen any hard evidence of right-wing social media ties with the shooter also. This is why I have 0 faith when the FBI gets involved.

Here's the thing though, I don't care if he's white, black, Mexican, Asian or what his ties are (right wing, left wing, center) or what the gender or whatever it is…

I care that all news outlets give the truth. You can't whitewash the Nashville shooter and sweep the manifesto and facts under the rug (CNN) and then when this happens, every headline is "right wing extremist", "RWDS", "white supremacy ". It's sickening, frustrating, and disgraceful.

I'm not saying he was, but to say that he wasn't by the mere fact that he was Hispanic is idiocy. To care whether or not he was when the end result of his crazy was that he shot a bunch of people is idiocy. To say that he couldn't be the worst ideological version of a white person, because he wasn't a white person, is ****ing weird to me. It's like saying "he couldn't root for our team, because he wasn't on our team." It's trying to come to a conclusion that he acted in a rational fashion at any point in his thought process, which he didn't. There is no motivation that justifies it and no motivation that makes it worse. He shot a bunch of people, there's no worse than that.

Is shooting a bunch of people, because you hate minorities worse than shooting a bunch of people because women don't like you, because people think you're weird, because you want to please allah? No, they're all ****ed. When people say he couldn't be a white supremacist, because he was hispanic it's playing into the narrative more than I am, because it is going to appear to a subset of individuals that white people do see themselves as separate and superior. It applies a level of rationality to white supremacy. He can be irrational enough to shoot a bunch of strangers, but white supremacy is rational enough that an irrational person like that couldn't believe in it. "He couldn't be on our team, because he isn't on our team. He's a slightly tinted version of us, which is unpure."

Was he a white supremacist? I don't know, but to say it's not possible is weird. There are white people that think they're black and act as if they're black supremacists. There are videos of white people kissing the feet of black people as penance for their whiteness. People are nuts, anything is possible.

Okay. Again - we are discussing a possibility that, based on the evidence, is just as likely as the shooter being a black power proponent or a Flat Earther. All of which we could speculate about, but let's be honest - the guy was not a white supremacist, black supremacist, or (likely) a flat earther.

Let me put it to you like this instead. Do you think the claims of white supremacy like WaPo and WSJ are running are examples of good faith journalism? Do you think it's really enough of a possibility that it demanded the entire headline? Or do you think the MSM is pushing an agenda?

If you think there's no agenda, what would your response be if the media was clamoring to tell us this guys a black supremacist?

Agenda or not, the statement that it is an impossibility that a Hispanic person could be a white supremacist is opening you up to claims that you believe white supremacy is a rational ideology. Or that you believe that a white supremacist could not commit a mass shooting. Whatever motive they want to place on you is now an open game for them. Two things can be true, there's an agenda, and the guy was a white supremacist. When you deny the possibility, you allow them to craft a narrative around your denial.

And here come the pictures, if it is in fact him, with Nazi iconography to drive home the point of why you don't say he couldn't be a white supremacist.

This is a crafted media narrative following an allowed crime to happen that's convenient to the powers behind the curtain.

Consider the source of the guy that somehow broke all this background info by himself and posted on twitter.

https://www.bellingcat.com/about/meet-our-team/

It's a "journalism" website with a huge team of global workers, a website that most people probably haven't heard of.

One of their primary missions is to research and expose far-right extremist conspiracy theories.

Most of his articles involve Russian conspiracy theories, which are really just his own conspiracy theories about Russians.

Just so happens he's the one that found this dude posting his life on a single Russian website nobody even reads. How convenient. Consider this a conspiracy theory, not reality.

I never said it was "impossible". This is the typical leftist tactic: shift every conversation into the extremely rare and statistically irrelevant situations.

Abortion - rape and incest, as an example.

So I guess your position is that until we know for sure what the motive is, it is legitimate for any news organization to speculate.

"Shooter may have been linked to radical Islamist ideology"

"Shooter may have been linked to the views of Louis Farrakhan"

"Shooter may have been motivated by a religious death cult"

"Shooter may have been motivated by Reconquista ideology"

All equally okay here as of the time the headlines by wsj and WaPo were posted? And your response would simply be, "hey, it's not IMPOSSIBLE that any of these could be true. If you say that, you're adding legitimacy to it."

Right? Does that boil down your argument?

No, but when a news story says that the shooter had social media posts/iconography that indicated he was a white supremacist and a lot of posters on this site say "He was Hispanic, he couldn't be a white supremacist." And I say the fact he was hispanic doesn't preclude him from being a white supremacist and you jump into the argument, it's not ridiculous for me to assume you agree with those posters.

Not a leftist, you just jumped into a disagreement that you didn't actually understand. That's your fault. And now you're making further assumptions with limited data.

"I am skeptical that the motivation of a Hispanic man was white supremacy, I'm going to wait for more information."
