Racism is the norm in latin America and society is racially stratified on a level Americans cannot fathom. Latin America loves their strong men types. Combine these with the dissident right sphere being the last remaining masculine movement in the nation and it's not a surprise it would appeal to them.

Also, hispanics do serve in the military at higher rates like whites. The two groups do interact in prisons often as well. There are a myriad of reasons for why this has happened, but no it's definitely not fake. These guys do exist and there are a lot of them.
