I was surprised about how many videos and pics came out that were easily seen as fakes. Like copying pics from past news stories. Seems like they put those out as an effort to question the original video.

When our military states that the reason they didn't drop this thing is because of public safety, over freaking Montana, and has elected to allow our global rival to fly a device over our sensitive installations, then it's obvious something is not adding up.

In the 70's NASA try to develop atmospheric "sniffers" but could never get the equipment to work with the limited technology at the time. Could be the Chinese found a way.

If we are just going to let it fly over our entire country and then shoot it didn't over the Atlantic, why say anything at all? Call the people claiming to see a balloon "conspiracy theorist loons" like always, shoot it down, then let china ponder wtf happened (which would include the strong belief that we had capability to track it; which is what they get by us telling them)
