There are a group of posters here, yourself included, that a lot of us gamers like conversing with who are no longer on the gamer thread because of the spoiler concern. I get that. However, me and others, would like to be able to discuss the show with some of you without being gatekept by the nancies.
I think how TC laid it out makes sense. If anyone on the other gamer thread starts guessing and posting predictions here. Flag it. That is reasonable to me. By playing the game, you forfeit the ability to predict the storyline of the show in this thread.
The first time I explained this perspective here got deleted because two active posters in this thread told me to **** off and called me a dip**** because I said "they nailed the clickers" wasn't a spoiler, and somehow they weren't banned for that. Live and let live.
I'm just impressed any of y'all can remember potential spoiler level material from a game 10 years ago

This. Heck a few of my posts at the beginning were warnings for folks to stay away from youtube and other things that could eventually lead to spoilers. I love this story and the last thing I'd want to have happen is to have it spoiled for anyone.
My comment about Ellie from episode 2 was 100% based on the show alone...that's me watching the exact same thing y'all are. I based that post only on that.
And I'll add the spoiler that was mentioned above was not posted by any of us gamers...and the person that posted it has since edited it.

I think the gamers should be commended for not bringing attention to the spoiler that was posted here. Instead, we went and discussed it on the gamer thread, because it was obvious no one caught on here and we didn't want to bring attention to it and ruin things for everyone.

Look, I'm not up in arms or anything, but I fully expect some dumbass to spoil something at some point.
I'm not going to stalk the other thread to flag posts here. If you guys can keep "in line," by all means, post here. I have no way of knowing who has and hasn't played the game. I'm on here bc I stopped reading the other thread after the first episode bc I didn't want to read any spoilers. I'd never even heard of this game, but I'm liking the show and would like to see where it goes without a bunch of people constantly posting something and then bringing up the game.
Ultimately, you guys can post whatever the hell you want. I'll bail if I have to, but I honestly enjoy discourse on shows on this forum.

I get it. Most are being cool. And to reiterate, im not mad or anything...But the fact that a spoiler was even posted, regardless of who posted, sort of "proves" my point. There's always some dip**** who can't follow the rules, and ruins it for everyone, both "gamers" and "non gamers." I'm assuming I'm not the only one who doesn't want to have to stalk the other thread to flag crap to see who is who. We just want to post without dealing with potential spoilers.
And with that, I'll end my "complaining" on this topic and let things go back to show discussion, which is what the thread is supposed to be about.
The spoiler wasn't posted by a gamer, or someone who posts regularly on the gamer thread.
Loved the lookback at the beginning of Ep 2. Hoping they continue those little snippets going forward

Pedro Pascal is doing a really good job but the other cast members are not good. I'll give it another two episodes but I don't care about the magical girl with fungi bite resistance.

I'll give you the tropes. I feel like we've gone through some of these motions so many times that I glaze over every so often, even in some of the tense scenes. That's certainly a fair critique. But to say the acting or the show itself is "bad" is just dumb. Yes, we've seen a lot of this before, but it's essentially been the Apple of zombie shows so far, doing something everyone else has already done, just better.

Of ALL the things in these two episodes, FEDRA is what made it somewhat good for you? Walking Dead had at least 5 or 6 governing groups that played a FEDRA-like role
I've never seen a zombie show have something as well built out for the infected as the Clickers were in Epi 2. That is next level anxiety-inducing tension and production that Walking Dead hardly ever reached
