WTH man. I quick look at your profile shows you've posted in the gamer thread six times in the past 24 hours alone. Why is this so hard for you people. At this point it's just seems you are intentionally trying to provide "soft spoilers", just to see if you can get away with it.

Is this like watching reaction videos for you guys? Just stop posting on the non gamer thread.

I can agree that players would be best to just not post in this thread, but the occasional non-spoiler post shouldn't get THAT much of a reaction imo.

I didn't think she was bit, but was scratched. If I remember correctly, she was right next to Tess and that clicker thing was swinging it's arms wildly (and blindly).

As shown above, what the guy thinks isn't a spoiler can end up being a spoiler in some capacity. People need to just choose one thread or the other. If they get comfy with posting in both, they'll eventually spoil something.

Clickers can't sense them other than sounds. Perhaps she couldn't hear Ellie?

I dont' know. the whole idea of them going by sounds alone but not echo locate or being able to hear them walk or breath is ridiculous.

Here's the conumdrum with this thread and why I'm suggesting all non-gamers just stop reading it until the end of the season.....you have no idea if someone is posting something they inferred from the show, or maybe something that was actually presented in the show but you missed it, or just a complete guess by them, or an outright fact from the game that they're trying to pass off as their own "guess".

There will without a doubt be gamers that ruin this thread (potentially has been already?). They'll do it by trying to pass off known game facts as their own guesses.



(Then again, if shows would just drop all episodes at once we wouldn't have this issue. Just my little jab at weekly releases, lol)

All I will say is I deeply deeply recommend listening to the official HBO podcast

Someone who legitimately hasn't played the game might have insight that seems spoilerly but is in fact the intent of Mazin as discussed in that podcast

Mazin/Neil are not spoiling anything as far as I can tell, but something accused of being a spoiler in the past in this thread was discussed as their intent

She's not, as far as I could tell. 2 mushrooms, 3 people, 2 fighting and 1 hiding. Mushrooms focused on the fighters.

Yeah that's generally been policy here in the past but joker got jumped for saying something that they clearly discussed there (the spread of the fungus being different in the show vs game). The HBO podcast about the show is done by three people:

1. The writer of the video game
2. The writer of the show, who said they played the game and loved it.
3. The lead actor in the video game.

If you're going to listen to the podcast, you can't complain about a gamer posting here.

I haven't listened to this one yet, but HBO podcasts typically are excellent and don't have spoilers. I'd assume it is the case here too.

There is no "don't post on both threads" rule. That's just dumb. Just don't discuss spoilers here. Simple enough. Since the creation of this thread, they aren't bothering with spoiler tags as much on the other, so be aware. (Haven't played the game)

Just pointing out that the podcast is run by people heavily involved with the game. There are several posters on here that seem hell bent on pretending the video game doesn't exist. If you are one of those people, then you should absolutely ignore the podcast. They do things like discuss the difference between the show and game. There have also been a couple of times they say, "Pay attention to X because it's going to come back," which is more of a spoiler than anything that has been posted on this thread so far.

It is a great podcast though.

The trailer that has been playing on national media right now for a game that's now 10 years old gives way more "spoilers" than anything that has been said on this thread.

Someone just make another thread for the cavemen/women who are champing at the bit to call anything someone says a spoiler and be done with it.

Yep. Word of mouth from people who don't typically watch zombie shows will drive it higher.

I think the last zombie thing I watched was night of the comet in the 1980s.
