I am just wrapping up a rewatch of the series, so I decided I'd go back and read the texags threads on it to see peoples reactions along the way. The first couple pages of season 1 thread are hilarious as the negative reactions. I wasn't watching right when it first aired so I didn't exactly go in with a total blank slate.

I love Brian Cox as an actor, but based on interviews I've seen and things he's said, he seems like very much the character he plays in real life. Definitely wouldn't want to be on his bad side.

I haven't read any of the threads yet, but my initial reaction was and remains that there are no redeemable characters in this show. Every single one of them is an *******, a moron, or both.

And we can't stop watching.
