Can anyone comment on 3D? I'm going to see it in Imax tomorrow, but can't decide if I want to see in 3D. I don't typically LOVE 3D.

It is a scorn upon cinema and should be banned from all theaters. That is all.

I've already seen Endgame 3 times

3 kids in school and during baseball season will never allow me to see any movie three times in one week. Like I said above, I have to plan my movie outing about a week in advance.
I went Friday morning when the kid was in school and the wife was working, then took the girls on Saturday afternoon, then yesterday decided I needed to see it a third time, again with the girls away.
So you have girls. I have a 14-year old girl. How did you handle, "I Love You 3,000!"?
Yeah, that was tough. But really, it was worse handling my daughters reaction to Black Widow sacrificing herself.

So what happened in infinity war when Thanos did the snap? Was it ever confirmed by the Russo's? I always thought he went into the soul stone and saw Gamora who was trapped there but now after Endgame it seems Gamora and Black Widow are just dead. Why didn't Hulk or Tony experience anything like that?

I saw it in 3D since that was the only showing I could get tickets for on Saturday. The best thing I can say about it is that the 3D didn't distract from the movie and the end credits looked cool in 3D.

Doctor Strange was insane in 3D, but that's the last movie I've even considered seeing that way.

Saw it last night. Enjoyed it.

Question: So later timeline Thanos is still dead, and Tony's little girl is still alive, because Tony's snap didn't undo the last 5 years, but just brought the vanished back into the timeline that had occurred since they all died? Do I have that right? So the vanished haven't aged, but the non-vanished have all aged 5 years.

Hulk snap brought everyone back w/o age! The ending with Spidey at school proves that.
Tony snap took out the bad guys!

Captain America went back in time, put the stones back, created new, alternate timelines, jumped to see Peggy, and then JUMPED back to the parallel, prime timeline.

from the comments, someone pointed out that the run time of the DCEU is 698-953, depending on whether you include suicide squad and shazam

tony's line to pepper was something like, "not that it's a competition, but she loves me 3000...what were you, 6-900?"

But then there would be 2 in Asgard.

It's a good question
No. He returned it to the timeline from which Thor had taken it.

I don't think we have covered this...After Ant-man pulls WM, Rocket and Hulk out of the rubble, does he (*edit Hulk) enter the fight at all? I do not remember seeing him.

i was really hoping that the pain/effects on Bruce would bring out the big guy with a vengeance. I so wanted to see hulk get a rematch.

Yes, he's part of the charge. It just doesn't show him fight

i think that's part of what the Russos did such a great job of. they let each of the main heroes play a significant role in defeating thanos. it just so happens that hulk's "rematch" comes in the form of retrieving the time stone and then bringing all the snap victims back.

but if you think back to age of ultron, hulk was feared by everybody to the point he fled earth. now he's apparently a social media favorite and has kids wanting selfies with him. i really like his character arc and i'm glad they didn't mess with it.

I've seen a lot of speculation about Phase 4 villians. There's an obvious one no one has been mentioning: Justin Hammer

part of what bothered me about professor Hulk is that it is just Ruffalo, but green. Hulk/Banner are two warring personalities, the only part of the hulk in Professor Hulk is the physique. He looks more like Banner than in any other movie, is actually smaller than when he's just hulk, and is pretty timid. It appears to me that Banner isn't soo much sharing with Hulk, but has found a way to control him (which is not what hulk wanted). It's almost like "Get Out!" where Banner's mind is controlling hulk's body. Hulk is not existing as his own person.

When the Ancient One uses the Astral plane, only Banner's Astral form is popped out of the body. If it was really two consciousness' occupying one, there should have been an Astral Hulk as well. I actually think it would have been pretty funny to have an Astral Hulk try to smash but can't and then get frustrated and plopped down on the floor like in Ragnorak.

with Tony out of the picture, and possibly his jail time coming to an end, Hammer could be poised to use fear of another alien invasion to really rack in the defense dough.

Well, just got out of seeing this and it feels incredibly bittersweet. I know The Ringer has been running pieces for the last year on the end of GoT being the "end of the monoculture" but, honestly, I feel that title more appropriately belongs to Endgame.

There really wasn't a missed beat in the entire movie besides the girl power scene but that was so brief that I honestly don't mind. It just needed to be a little more organic and it would not have been out of place in any real sense. That being said, this was definitely the "shortest" 3 hour movie I've ever seen.

Definitely agree with other folks here that it's going to be hard to care as much with future MCU movies going forward. As someone noted earlier in this 30+ page monster, Ironman and Cap are the heart and soul of the franchise and I'm less likely to be pulled in for future MCU films that aren't as tied in to those characters that we've truly connected with.

Why Sam over Bucky

Quote:

"So far as matching the level of integrity of Captain America, Sam is pound for pound as morally forthright as anyone in the Marvel universe. And Bucky's a damaged character," said Joe.

Anthony added that the bond between Sam and Steve that began in Captain America: Winter Soldier made Sam the right choice.

"Sam spends his time trying to repair other people who are broken by war, and it just feels like he has the same values as Captain America," said Anthony.

So which was the better or more awesome scene ...

Thor's arrival in Wakanda in Infinity War

or

Cap wielding Mjolnir in Endgame?

These two scenes seem quite similar in the emotional response I noted in audiences. Personally, as a bigger fan of Captain America, I was "Hell yeah!" when Cap lifted Mjolnir but I think Thor's arrival in Wakanda was more bad-ass.

The music is the only thing that made Thor's better IMO.
