So. 43 pages and nobody has complained about the time warping spaceships?! This board goes bonkers about it when Jon Snow does it, but StarLord, Rocket or Iron Man hop around the galaxy in a couple hours and not a peep.
Loved the movie anyway. It doesn't bother me in GOT either.

you understand the difference between dong it on horseback/on foot/in sailing ships vs...... literal rocket ships that can approach the speed of light (theoretically).....right????
and while one is fantasy it is grounded in physics that matches ours the other is sci-fi.
i mean it's a subtle difference i suppose.... no it's a significant difference actually.
GOT doesn't bother me actually anyway but.....sci-fi really doesn't bother me since it's you know....science fiction.
Never mind that guardians 2 showed the jump points that allow ships to jump between points in space intantly.
Speed of light travel affects how you experience time. Not the folks on earth. It would take years to travel between even close points in the Milky Way.

You do get that the "sci" means science ... right??? Theory of relativity and laws of physics should apply outside of the mystical, magic stuff.

I get accused all the time of nit picking, but you're taking it to a different level. I don't care about the GoT magic boat rides and I definitely don't care about fiction space rides to planets that don't exist.
Thor rides a rainbow through space-time, why the F would anyone care how long an advanced spaceship would take to go between planets?

I mean the Allies cranked out Sherman tanks in 48 hours in the 1940s. I'd like to think Wakanda could maybe do better.
Regarding the battle in Wakanda, there was a point when a flew aircraft flew in to shoot at something and I thought (possibly said out loud) "now they bring in the air support?"
There were also a few that crashed and burned after the snap. So they were present, but obviously not as fun as full scale hand to hand fight with an alien army.

man i dont know. i saw iron man and iron man 2 when they came out....same thing with the old spidermans, but now im hooked.

Paul Rudd is too damn likeable. You'll enjoy it.
Ant Man is a lot of fun
Ant Man is fun but I didn't really like the villain. He's like a more cartoon version of Obadiah from Iron Man
The villain was lame, but I think Ant Man was one of the exceptions in the MCU where the third act was better than the previous two. The fight between him and Yellowjacket is pretty awesome.
Yea it's definitely a low stakes, traditional comic book, movie. It won't blow you away but it's funny and entertaining.

I really enjoy the cameo. It helps make more sense in Civil War too.

I enjoyed Ant Man as well, probably one of the best MCU's for the younger kids too.
Really the only MCU in the last few years I thought was bad was Dr Strange. I tried watching on Netflix, got through about 40 minutes tops, never finished it.

Whaaaat? Strange is great.
I thought Dr. Strange was average. I loved his character in Infinity War though.
