Wasn't the most recent iteration of Watchmen a new generation of previous heroes (some new, some old)? I would imagine it would be the same here. Dr. Manhattan is probably on Mars. Maybe we'll have a Nite Owl or Silk Spectre III, and with Ozymandis serving in some sort of Illuminati manner. Of course, Rorshach's journal was released, so it'll be interesting to see if that is referenced/comes in to play at all. Regardless, I'm excited for what this might become, especially on HBO.

HBO finally made it official. They only had a pilot order up to this point, with scripts written for the rest of the season, but they must have liked what saw with the completed/shot pilot, and just officially ordered the show to series, which will debut in 2019 (I'm guessing at some point in the second half of the year)...

Veeery interesting take. So, it seems that in Rorschach's death in the original he has spawned disciples of some sort who have been in waiting and plotting something? This looks so cool yet so bizarre, and I cannot wait.

did it not say Fall? why would you keep it for the next 4 months?

So I can go back and rewatch GoT on-demand while complaining about every little detail. Then watch Deadwood, Chernobyl, Big Little Lies, and maybe Euphoria to bridge the gap.

Also, that Dr. Manhattan tease... so good.

Would be awesome if they actually brought back Billy Crudup in the role, even though this isn't officially tied to the movie. Still, he did a phenomenal job. The movie had its flaws, but the depiction of Dr. Manhattan wasn't one of them.
