What a truly "Good Bull" move that was by the Mississippi State baseball team. There are still good people in this world. For them to acknowledge the NCST team in the "high of winning it all" shows me that they are among the good. So very proud of those young men and their Head coach and staff. As I have always heard, "Everything comes from the top down."

Curses are simple. You have to say "Omaha" to say "Omahogs" (despite the spelling).

You don't have to say "Omaha" to say "Omadawgs".

That, and that alone, is why MSU won.

baseball is a strange game.

remember lowly Missouri (15-36) rolled into Starkville in mid-May and won 2 of 3 vs. the national champs.

the Tigers mauled State's pitching staff. Scored 27 runs in the 3-game series

State made it to Omaha before I heard or saw "Omadawgs." The Piggies had a huge sign behind the plate at the Baum, I think as early as the regional, how did they expect to avoid the attention of the temperamental baseball gods?

The Hawgs' fans probably feel a lot like '89 Aggie baseball fans. At least the baseball gods only allowed sippie to get to the championship game and not win the whole thing.

Seriously though, the servers on this website would be burning to the ground if we were the number 1 national seed and some team we beat 3-0 won the title
