In each game, one team held the other to 2 runs. In the old days, both teams would have scored 10+ runs in each game.

MSU pitching has had one bad inning in 18. They are really deep with good pitchers. I don't think this will be close tomorrow.

Rooting for State tonight, should be a great game. I think both coaches / managers were too late to pull their struggling starter in games 1 and 2, would expect a quicker hook tonight if needed.

The cowbells are less annoying than the whistler, but I think the cowbells are a State football thing.

A baseball NC for State would be well deserved, their first, and spread the wealth among the SEC.

And at least we could see a maroon and white adidas uniform dog-pile celebration........

No, though the oddsmakers have a pretty good idea.

It's lower limit so less risk for the book if there are unexpected pitching changes.

This kid is the upper Echelon of talent and will only get better in that program. I know he had a rough outing at cws but he's 17.... imo his stuff in sec tournament was very very good.

I'm really hoping Mississippi State wins it tonight. They have zero national titles in any sport, I believe. This makes this a HUGE game for their entire athletic existence.

That said, Vandy sure seems to be to College Baseball what Bama has been to College Football lately. Seems that they are in the CWS finals nearly every year.

Correct. MSU, Virginia Tech, and Kansas State are the only Power 5 schools with no team national titles in any sport.
