I agree with the TV crew -- getting tossed by the 3B ump across the diamond for slamming a fist is pretty damned bad. 1B or Home plate ump needs to own that if something happened.

Agree. Vitello is going to have a stroke or have every ump in the country hate him. He has the intensity and demeanor of a football coach that has to be that way 12-14 times per year. When you have to play 60+ games a year, that's not sustainable. Baseball has a level of intensity, but he is just nuts.

Fun to watch though...lol

That was brought on by the complaining. Close plays were going to go against you.

I really wish it didn't have to be 100% to overturn. Gives way too much weight to the quick call.

The problem is that there is a still shot of the glove on him while his foot is not on the base.

That's as clear-cut as it gets.
