Not necessarily. The second one is about to come out, if you're interested in trying it out the beta is next week, so you could try that and see if it's for you.

If it is you can buy the base game for like $5, or the collection for like $30-$40 and have time to play it and get the feel for it before 2 comes out.

There's plenty of us in here that would be willing to run around helping you whenever you're on too!

July 21st- 23rd is open beta to everyone. I think it's supposed to have two PVP modes, one strike (long mission), and one regular mission. I assume you'll be able to download it in the playstation store once it comes around? I'm not sure though.

Huh? Character progression does not carry over to Destiny 2.

Ag_derp: Id probably wait at this point. D2 is only about two months away.
