Woody now has 149 yards on 43 carries to DM's 138 yards on 52 carries for the season.

Our recent 2nd round picks:

Juice Scruggs ('23)
Disappointing enough we had to package a 4th round with him just to get RB David Montgomery back. DM has 52 rushes for 138 yards in 5 games and Juice is having a breakout season.

Blake Fisher ('24) - played 27 snaps this season heading into today. Bust.

Kamari Lassiter ('24) - stud (until this season?).

Jayden Higgens ('25 - No. 33 overall)
In 17 GP he had 525 yards averaging 2.4 catches and 30.8 yards a game last year. Tore an ACL in practice heading into this year.

Aireontae Ersery ('25)
-.07 WAR on PFF for '25, but he played 1200+ snaps, so we had that going for us.

Kayden McDonald ('26 - No. 36 overall)
First action on the season was today where he picked up 2 assists. On pace for 7 or so assisted tackles this year.

Marlin Klein ('26)
24-year-old German TE who averaged 1.05 catches for 9.6 yards in 36 games at Michigan. 1 catch on the season in 3 games and a healthy scratch today.
Klein a healthy scratch for Texans in Week 5 - NBC Sports

Taking a 2nd round pick out of Caserio's hands might be the best thing we can do for him. Think of it as trading Marvin Harrison Jr. for Marlin Klein.

It's a risk/reward situation…I like the risk, and the familiarity with CJ and MHJ is worth the risk. This isn't a health issue with Tank, IMO, this is, "we need a big bodied receiver when Nico goes out again" situation.
