Yep. Just saw on X per PFF, guess who is leading the league in Most dropbacks under pressure this season...by a pretty good rate.

Until we get a good line, we may never know how good CJ actually is.

He wasn't very good in NE, he might just not be very good

As I understand it, Boutte is a one-trick pony who basically just runs go routes. When you have Nico Collins, he can be a good compliment who can stretch the field. But he's not going to fill Nico's role.

Correct. Hutchinson is the best fitted to fill Nico's role. Problem is he can't separate or catch the ball very well.

We desperately needed a tight end. Dalton Schultz is one of the worst blocking tight ends in the league, he's effectively just a big slot receiver. Beyond that, we had a guy coming off destroying both knees and hadn't played in multiple seasons, stover who will be out of the league soon, and we signed moreau in the offseason who is a solid blocking tight end but not much of a receiver. We had a grand total of 0 tight ends capable of both blocking and receiving, the position was a massive issue last season, and the offensive coordinator has said from day one that he prefers to run 2 and 3 te sets when the personnel is there. Also, a ton of the disaster plays last season that fans attributed to the offensive line on account of the end result being a sack or pressure were actually on the tight end- people assumed because a lineman often would desperately try to get there to clean up after the TE that he must have been the one to miss the block, but the tight end play was some of the worst this team has had in years. Schultz is fine for a fantasy team maybe but he's completely one dimensional. Klein has looked great so far anyway. of all the problems this team has I'm not sure drafting Klein was anything but helpful really.

You missed my point. I was replying to a comment about the fact we ran 11 personnel the vast majority of the game last week. I have no problem with Klein, and I honestly was a fan of the pick. But what's the point of using a 2nd on him, or any tight end for that matter, if Caley is going to feature Schultz in 1 tight end formations for >80% of snaps in ANY game this season, especially games with Nico out? lol at implying I was stanning for Schultz. I have a pair of eyes. His limitations are painfully obvious and have been covered endlessly.

The first time I responded to you, you were clearly talking only about A&M. What made it even worse is you were going after Annie defending A&M after the ASU game and BASing about Kentucky to justify your week prior BASing.

and 'going after'? it was a simple reply. maybe spend more time reading and less time trying to manufacture outrage and police TA.....and if BAS bothers you so much....don't read it......there's lots of it on TexAgs so stop acting like I'm the only one. My original post on this thread was in response to the Texans loss....just because I lumped in the A&M loss doesn't mean I shouldn't post on a Texans thread.

Sorry it wasn't my intention to imply you were saying anything about Schultz specifically, I only stayed on him because it's the common response when people complain about taking Klein "but we already have Schultz!" so I was trying to get ahead of that to an extent. But it I misunderstood your meaning I apologize. There's just a ton of odd complaints about that pick I've encountered.

Agree or disagree fact of the matter is he's not durable. Hes not to be relied on and we need to desperately move on
