I don't know of another team that will sign Bond to their 53. Otherwise, he becomes PS for the Texans and they can promote him when they need him.

This would be my guess too.

Jarrett Kingston was the only Texans cut that was claimed by waiver. All the rest are able to be added to the Texans' practice squad.

Usually those come a few months after. This is similar to when they unveiled the "H" jersey and all you could get were jerseys/hats/helmets.

Not sure how accurate the source is so take it for what it's worth.

That seems unlikely to me, signing a contract for that kind of money is next level life changing. With how Stroud has imploded in the playoffs I have a tough time thinking that we offered that money and that he turned it down thinking he's going to make it to $60MM next offseason. Houston has showed consistently that they are happy to pay guys that are performing, even adding money on top if they keep performing. I would love for Stroud to prove me wrong and earn that kind of money, but that doesn't pass the smell test.
