The feds stepping in here could be due to concerns that Mangione could walk with just one holdout on a solely Manhattan jury. Guy just has too much support among the anti-capitalist adherents to ensure an impartial jury.
So at first I was surprised the feds were piling on but then I thought about the potential concerns with wacky Manhattan juries. Further, the feds may also just not trust Bragg's office after they in effect overcharged with the first degree murder count based upon a very thin terrorism claim. Shades of what happened in the Daniel Penny trial. Bragg really messed that one up.

Yeah seriously, what are they trying to do here? Only other person to get this kind of fanfare not named Trump. Seems a little over the top, no?

Adams is currently indicted and facing federal corruption charges. Everyone around him/connected to him is getting indicted too. He's playing the political game (reason for his recent comments) and trying to be front and center as a 'strong leader' on this in hopes that Trump will pardon him.

U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said: "As alleged, Mayor Adams abused his position as this City's highest elected official, and before that as Brooklyn Borough President, to take bribes and solicit illegal campaign contributions. By allegedly taking improper and illegal benefits from foreign nationalsincluding to allow a Manhattan skyscraper to open without a fire inspectionAdams put the interests of his benefactors, including a foreign official, above those of his constituents. This Office and our partners at the FBI and DOI will continue to pursue corruption anywhere in this City, especially when that corruption takes the form of illegal foreign influence on our democratic system."

Dude had it all, wealth, health, education, and got bored. Didn't think it through, will be known as the guy that shot the CEO in the back.
Cowardly act, no doubt about that and will eventually suffer the same fate from one of his new roomies wanting a name.

So to recap:
Diddy's lawyer and Luigi's lawyer are husband and wife, and Diddy and Luigi are being held in the same jail.
Gonna be hard for them not to take work home, but on the upside they can carpool.

What? Health? I haven't followed the story the last few days but is the entire thing about his back surgery and issues related to it not real?

He wasn't even a United Health customer. He's a nut
Yeah, killing someone that people on both sides of the political aisle is about as breaking the code as it gets. I mean, we can't have any unity between both sides. If that happens, then they'll (both sides) realize they have more in common and more common enemies than the corporate overlords, their politician lackeys and talking heads want there to be. Anyone with an IQ over a dead corpse knows they all make their living by keeping us divided.W said:

not supposed to kill the rich or the famous or both
recall the Joker's line to Harvey Dent from the Dark Knight

"Not an inch" isn't only for the 2nd amendment with those people; it goes for not giving an inch to allowing both sides to come even an inch close on something, even if they agree wholeheartedly on it, like just how much a disaster health insurance companies are.
