Interesting to say the least, many of us thought this guy was on some higher level, but really he wasn't, but it does seem that he may have been "messed up" when he had his spinal surgery.. Im going to bet he was in constant pain with his injury and he blames it on not getting "better" medical services from his insurance. really fits along with all of this. who knows, his story on his medical service will come out, that will be his entire defense, hes in pain because this CEO screwed him on his medical treatment... he will be a robin Hood for many people with similar medical issues

Im very interested in hearing his side of the medical story, this guy basically took it out on the CEO because of what he went through or is going through... I want to see how bad his treatment was.. none of it justifies his actions but it will be interesting to see what he has gone though

Lots of geniuses are messed in the head. He knows there's no possible political solution. For most people that means there is no solution. He's messed in the head, so he decides to kill someone. Most of us who come to the same conclusion he does go "aw shucks, guess we'll try as hard as we can to make a change".

Same with guys like McVeigh, he was spot on in his critique of the ATF and FBI. The madness was with his decision to bomb the Murrah building.

To be honest we should be thankful this guy just killed one dude instead of blowing up a building.

With all the technology and video available to law enforcement (and if the authorities have enough manpower to follow up on leads) it seems practically impossible to commit a crime like this and get away with it.

A big chunk of Police work seems to have been reduced to just gathering up videos and watching hours of footage.

I'm playing catch-up, so I don't know if this has been addressed. They FOUND him after a tip from a McD's employee. When did they IDENTIFY him?

You're assuming this was a single, isolated event and he planned on just walking away and back to his life, but him keeping his gun and fake ID's makes complete sense of he intended to kill other people and was simply waiting for his next opportunity. That certainly seems like the case.

I think the reason he wants to distance himself from the money is it goes against his anti-capitalist ideals and his Crusading little guy striking back against the evil corporation theme. The typical criminal martyr isn't so well funded by their family's generational wealth.
