What do y'all think about that? I'm about half way through. The guy is reading the CIA documents and then commenting.

Pretty interesting stuff regarding human consciousness.

This is all speculative and I'll probably receive flack for bringing it up. Makes no difference to me theologically either way.

But how would an ancient person or writer describe any vehicle that say Elijah went up in, as an ancient writer? God could have very well sent down a literal chariot.

What of the description of some kind of vehicle in Ezekiel?

Now...it's important to note that the main point of both texts were theological and God-centered discussions and not about flying saucers. But it is interesting.

Is all life carbon based? That's another question. Are all angels carbon based and others possibly not carbon based? The cherubim and seraphim appear to me to be different than say the angels that procreated with women in the book of Genesis, for instance.

Maybe some are other life under the angels similar to our positioning as humans? Maybe this is why CS Lewis wrote some Sci-fi? I don't know.

I really have no authority here on this topic.

Yep. And you couldn't get into the propulsion system or fuel injection, or timing belts, or radiators...You'd probably confuse them all to pieces.

I've never could imagine a chariot of fire being something that I wanted to get into.

I know some Greek not Hebrew. Some prepositions are determined by the context and are worth lookBig into. But it could have been chariot on fire, which wouldn't be something Elijah would want to get into.

I'm not sure what the Greek Septuagint states. Anyway, maybe Zobel can fill us in.

My dad knows someone who was involved with this and swears it is real. I always found that interesting.

Well, not be too argumentative, but the easiest to prove explanation is that LTC McDonnell wrote all that after a 2 day bender. It's word salad gobbledygook. The CIA has studied a lot of really strange stuff. Certainly the mere existence of the document shouldn't be regarded as proof that the phenomenon itself is completely real.
