A very strange, and a very consequential death.......

The death of Dr. David Kelly in 2003 is one of the strangest events in recent British history.

Very literally. Look into it.

Good enough!

I thought it was entertaining. I'm certainly not going to spend a hell of a lot of time pondering the issue, but it's damned interesting.
Hate is how progressives sustain themselves. Without hate, introspection begins to slip into the progressive's consciousness, threatening the progressive with the truth: that their ideas and opinions are illogical, hypocritical, dangerous, and asinine.
This is backed by data.

Armand Hammer.

Paul Getty. (context of Imelda Marcos)

It's not good.

Plenty of confirmed information for those that wish to see.

Any of y'all ever hear of Robin Henson and "The Great Filter", or "The Fermi Paradox"?

I had a college kid down the street mention it to me. It was interesting enough to look it up.

I'm pretty familiar. Not sure if I would call them conspiracy theories in the usual sense. More like hypotheses. I think the Great Filter is a viable answer to the Fermi Paradox. Two other explanations, besides a Unique Earth scenario:

1. "Ships passing in the night." There have been advanced, interstellar travel and colonization-capable civilizations in the universe in the past, and there will be more in the future (possibly us), but there happens to be none right now because the ones in the past have gone extinct. Somewhat ties to the Great Filter reasoning.

2. They're out there and watching us. They just want nothing to do with us.
As in they are so advanced we might as well be ants or plant life to them...or they are disgusted with our liberals and want nothing to do with us? Don't blame them in either scenario.

How did homosexual practice - nearly all of it, except for Ernst Rohm, hidden - influence ideology?
Several German language books have recently been translated to English.

edit: The Pink Swastika is the most famous and gossipy of these, but it's now an academic interest.

Up for interpretation. I like the second one better. I would think we would be aware of them if the first were the case. Unless we aren't aware of them because we don't possess the technological ability nor evolutionary sophistication to be aware of them, similar to how a plant is not "aware" of us in the traditional sense. Makes me think of the ending to "Men In Black".

Is that about the sexual corruption of the human race in a Satanic attempt to corrupt all human DNA? Satan thought he had that one figured out before with the interbreeding of fallen angels and human women. Making homosexuality the dominant sexual orientation would certainly be a 180 degree turn from God's plan for humankind, indeed of all creation which is groaning for redemption according to Romans 8: 19-23.

why have to be careful to not tee off on certain topics.

Well folks, this has been fascinating. I'm a long time lurker on this site, and only recently have I spent much time on this board...well, now that it is offseason, I'm hooked.

Every thread is on the edge...but this thread is special. It has been a 3 hour wormhole for me, and as my Yeti has gotten lighter, I've enjoyed these bits more and more.

Redstone, hat is off to you...if you can function daily with this kind of minutia running through your head, you are a much better man than I. I'm wearing out wikipedia just trying to familiarize myself with the topics you are bringing up, and I thought I was smart.

How about this:
- Mohammed didn't exist
- The Koran is a multi-century collection used by warlords to unite the Arabian peninsula against Anatolia
- Islam is a Christian heresy

Outrageous? We have a lot of evidence.

Book is Hidden Origins of Islam -
German scholars of Islam, translated into English, complete with many primary sources and photos of .... Christian symbols !

Well, I believe in the soul, the cock, the *****, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days.

Some good docs on youtube as well.

The Koran's description of Meca is off on several points. Pretty hard thing to screw up you would think.

I believe that Ted Kennedy is (MOSTLY, NOT FULLY) innocent at Chappaquiddick...
He didn't know she was in the car.

https://www.capecodtimes.com/lifestyle/20161113/new-book-questions-ted-kennedys-chappaquiddick-tragedy?template=ampart

What was a common belief - with strong evidence - at the time? This.

Why did Kennedy lie so much about it? Opinions varied.
