several months ago, POCB was going to be part of Airplane Hour. Somewhere, someone has mistakenly posted the wrong listing. It will have been a genuine mistake but nonetheless it was a mistake which is unacceptable. As said I will try to find out what went wrong and hope that you will see fit to forgive the team at Discovery.

Dan's apology is moot.
a plane needs air movement over the wings to provide lift and if the plane is on a treadmill there is no air speed so the plane would have no lift and stay on the treadmill... i would expect for aggies to know this, come on guys!

It doesn't stay stationary on the belt.
There will be air flow over the wings, because the plane will roll forward on the conveyor belt with very little added difficulty than it would on a regular runway.
The thrust comes from the engines, the wheels are free spinning.
