expert realized that Brontosaurus wasn't "real" 100 years ago. It is a synonym for Apatosaurus.

New research has restored Brontosaurus excelsus. Though it's still disputed.

I don't want them to be "real". I want the scary dinosaurs from my childhood, the kinds that didn't have feathers and weren't the size of chickens. If they get dino facts wrong, I really do not give a ****.

My great Aunt would say that dinosaur bones were placed there by Lucifer to test our faith and that the earth is only 6000 years old. True story, Ive heard it more than once.

I think he just made a typing error. Yes, they had feathers. It's even possible that Ornithischian Dinos had proto-feathers. That would REALLY **** with how we picture the Mezosoic.

This is almost exactly what Henry Hu says to Hammond in the first book. He tried to convince Hammond to let him genetically modify the dinosaurs because they were too "real" and were not what he believed people wanted to see.
