Whys everyone in the comments, and you above me talking about the bad acting? I think it's pretty darn good... Pratt is a comical, loose character... Dallas has a stick up her butt kinda character... They portray it both well... I can't wait!!

My opinion is very valid, that's why it is my opinion ...
Quite frankly it's that BDH's delivery seems stilted. I instantly don't believe her character exists, she's too broadly painted - and if she's in a big power position, she wouldn't be visiting some dummy out in the boonies to request his services.
Pratt - in this short sequence - combines Grant's respect for what dinosaurs are with Malcolm's sense of humor. That's what we like in our dino movies.

Its just one clip and Pratt was always going to carry this movie anyways. I was curious to how serious they were going to make his character and this pretty much answers my question. Still pumped about this movie.
Wow. That actress comes across as a whiney 13-year-old girl. She might single handedly ruin the movie, especially if they really felt that was one of the best clips they could show.
It's a clip that gives nothing away and establishes the personalities of the main characters. Pratt looks like he's having fun and given the nature of the clip, I'm not too worried about BDH yet.

well, considering hammond arrived to montana by helicopter, and BDH arrived by auto.......
If the montana badlands are not in "the boonies," then i don't know where else would be.

I'm judging the clip as a whole, cause it's a movie about dinosaurs.... It could be horrible and I would still like it... Jurassic park is the first movie I remember going to see as a kid and will always be my favorite.
