Simpleton loves going on threads after a season loss and posting about playoff probabilities. He does this for the Mavs as well. It's funny though, when the Lakers were struggling in the beginning of the season, the guy was a ghost around here. Biggest fair weather fan on this board.

Let me address a couple things here... The Spurs couldn't get over the hump. Every quarter seemed to start the same. Denver goes on a 5 point run or so and the Spurs are forced to play catch up.
They get close then a ball bounces one way, Timmy misses 2 free throws or Denver got 3 shots on a possession. Yuck. Pretty frustrating tonight.
Now to Simplebay... Dude, you really are showing your idiocy tonight. You did the exact same thing on the Mavs thread. A team loses and now they are horrible. Terrible loss. Team was rested. Blah Blah Blah. Every time a team losses there are tons of reasons why it was horrible.
Every time the Spurs win you can come on here and claim "Oh that win was expected" or "They better have won that game, their opponent was missing a player" and when the Spurs lose it's "what a terrible loss."

Was at the game tonight, and I hate RJ more than ever. God he is terrible. The team seamed to be really out of synch defensively most of the game, never gaining control of the game. People were hesitant to take shots the whole game. Everyone just seamed off. Except TP. He's still got it going on.

Here's the majority of excuses/comments from spurs fans on this thread:
- officials (shocker)
- every bounce going other teams way
- not our night
- pop didn't try
- starters didn't try
when in actuality, the nuggets were severely outgunned, and showed exactly how to beat the spurs. penetrate the lane, as parker is surpgisingly a sub-par defender for someone of his quickness, and make quick cuts to the basket with your forwards, as duncan can no longer keep up, splitter is terrible, and blair is undersized.
keep manu from creating shots, and the spurs falter.
not a single spurs fan has mentioned the biggest problem with the spurs now vs the spurs of old. Duncan. and i'm not talking about his age.
Duncan reminds me of Andrew Bynum now. when you throw him the ball, he can score almost on any given play. But the offense no longer runs through Duncan. he's more of an option now, whereas before the offense didn't start until he touched the ball.
maybe this is to do with his age, but the spurs go as parker and ginobili go, pop's offense resolves around them creating shots, or giving matt bonner the green light to shoot (seriously, he shoots way too much).
there are glaring weaknesses in the spurs that have been supremely evident as of late that no spurs fan has mentioned.
