For the fifth time this spring, Mike Elko and the Fightin' Texas Aggies were back on the gridiron as spring football rolls on. Following the open portion of A&M's fifth spring practice on Saturday afternoon, Olin Buchanan shares a few thoughts on what he saw from the Aggies.

Primary observations and thoughts from the sixth session of Texas A&M spring football practice on Saturday afternoon begin with this: Receiver Isaiah Horton is everything that he’s projected.

Of course, excellent performance in March doesn’t necessarily lead to excellent performance in September, October and November.

But the 6-foot-4, 208 graduate transfer from Alabama looks to be as close to a sure thing as the Aggies can hope.
