Update: Manu is headed back to San Antonio for an MRI, and Tiago will stay with the team but will miss Monday's game vs the Jazz.
Manu took some anti-inflammatories. He says it's already feeling a lot better and doesn't think it's as serious as initially thought.
Good to hear. Probably safe to keep him out until at least next week in any case.

Yea i suspect he won't play until after the All-Star break. Same with Tiago.
The all star break will be huge for the team, and obviously for the injuries. The next 3 games are gonna be rough. I see us going 2-1, possibly 1-2. Which overall still makes for a great road trip.
I say 2-1. All three teams are in a slump right now. They've all been playing sub 500 ball in last ten.
Mavs, Jazz, Lakers, and Nuggets all lose.
Would've rather seen the Thunder lose, but it's not a bad thing to finally put some distance between the Spurs and the rest of the pack. It's crazy how tight the west has been so far.

ESPN reporting that Manu will be out two weeks. Meh. Kind of what I expected.

Utah's absolutely killing us in the paint. We're fortunate to only be down four after the first. Threes are keeping us in the game so far.
Joseph is dreadful. I still cannot believe they wasted that pick on him with the guys who were still available.
I'm sure he is still developing or something. he might turn out to be a nice piece. But what exactly does he do? Can't shoot. In this Utah game so far his d has sucked.
Blair is playing a nice game on both ends.

At halftime, Spurs-56 Jazz-53, once Popovich took out Corey Joseph, the team seemed to be playing better. Seems to me like Joseph is trying to do to much, while TJ is out. He needs to learn his role as a defensive player, and not an offensive play maker. Bonner has been hot from beyond the arc hitting 4-5 3-pointers, it always seems like his best game is against the Jazz. We need to do a better job on defending the fast break, and not let them get offensive rebounds. Other than that been playing great.

Spurs have yet to come out of the locker room for the 3rd. Jazz up by 10 and 0 points for the Spurs in the quarter.
I was real high on how good Green was, but now, it looks to me that he isn't playing as good of defense, and not making shots that he should be, I do know, to me, he seems to be slacking.

Caught a quick glance at Anderson tonight, good defense, got a steal, hit a 3, although he missed an open jumper. Not bad!
