With PEA seemingly out and Laca gone in the summer, I wouldn't be mad if we convinced Eddie to sign a new contract and give him starter minutes the rest of the season. Then if all goes well, go find a tall, OG-esque ST to be a changeup rotation guy for Eddie.

I don't think anyone will pay what we ask, but who knows. I agree with you on the Eddie deal.

Only player that disappointed tonight was Balogun, but he did have 2 good chances

Balogun was also playing out of position. He is much better in a 2 ST formation. Needs to go on loan to a championship side in Jan.

Absolutely. Balo is definitely just a striker. We have more flexibility with Eddie who has looked decent on the wing in limited appearances. I'm certainly not worried about Balogun. You could tell he was pressing hard to get on the score sheet
