Don't get why we barely play Eddie for weeks and now he comes on twice in 2 games after refusing to sign an extension. Give Balogun those minutes. With his contract expiring you aren't gonna raise his value much in the next month.

That's the amazing thing about Arteta. As bad as this style of play looks sometime, you look at the chances Eddie and Auba miss there and you say "what else do you expect the manager to do?"

I think this is the actual team we typically get with Arteta. Just a zero production offense and a half scared defense. We'll probably lose to West Ham and then go on some run and win enough to save his job again. It's just not good enough

I'm very back and forth on Arteta. I think he has a good understanding of the game and solid tactics but his lineup/sub decisions are suspect at times and he can't seem to get the team to do the right things when it counts. In a matter for just a couple of weeks we have gone from a strong run of games where we looked like we could finish top 4 to the last 3-4 games were we look like we should finish 8-10 range at best.

No doubt the players -- looking at Auba mainly -- spurn their chances and bear some responsibility for the failure. Bigger problem is it seems this team really struggles to create those chances, which has been consistent under Arteta.

I'm not saying he has to go but I wouldn't make an argument to keep him at this point.
If you say you hate the state of politics in this nation and you don't get involved in it, you obviously don't hate the state of politics in this nation.

It's his decisions that piss me off the most. Xhaka has been out for 3 months due to injury and then he goes the full 90. He looked gassed by halftime. Sambi had an outstanding game against Newcastle and we proceed to bench him while Partey is churning out 2/10 performances and gets to start every week. Nketiah decides he doesn't want to play here so now we're gonna give him all the minutes off the bench? There is no rhyme or reason to his GameDay decisions whatsoever.

I don't think that is how Arteta wants them to play either. They talked about that on Arseblog and how he was trying to push the guys forward and they just sat back anyways.
