It didn't matter who Arsenal played in preseason. The Gunners were abysmal then and are abysmal now.

I will say at this rate, Arteta is building a nice young club for the next manager.

Sambi has been a bright spot the first 2 matches, it's our defense and finishing that are abysmal

Only positive is that our guys didn't fold down 2 nil. They kept fighting, but we just can't put it in the net. Gonna be another long and embarassing season I'm afraid.

Against a top team that you will be playing again within 2 weeks that has something to gain and nothing to lose by injuring one of your players? No, we shouldn't.

Honestly, I'd be totally fine telling him he can either go to Frankfurt or train with the U23s (but not play) for the remainder of his contract. Let him waste his prime years there if he wants to screw us so badly

I wouldn't be opposed to that. We have to man up and play hard ball with some of these situations. Tend to let teams/players push us around way too much.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an Arsenal podcast? I listened to The Arsenal Opinion a long time ago but haven't recently. I have a 40 minute commute and just interested to see why other people listen to.

I typically just listen to Charles Watt's youtube videos for Arsenal news. I'm not much of a podcast person. Arseblog had an ok one.

Apparently some interwebs excitement about some cryptic tweet from the a Qatari royal or something having some wishful speculation that they'll make Stan an offer he can't refuse. I hate that today it literally boils down to just money, but it does and I want an owner who has more of it and wants to turn Arsenal into their expensive hobby. Someone who will be embarrassed if their hobby team is lower than 4th on the table. Stan clearly doesn't care. When my Chelsea supporting friends were trolling me on Sunday I had to congratulate them on buying a better team. That is the only real compliment I could give.

There was a weird cryptic message and a reply to an arsenal related tweet with the royal stating that KSE needs to sell. I'll come back and post it if I can find it again.

Basically he is an Arsenal fan voicing his opinion. The difference is his family is worth 200 billion and could easily take action if they desired.

Zero excuses to lose this. We've put out a strong line up and meanwhile West Brom is giving 5 players their debuts for the club.

I imagine Auba, Saka and Odegaard will come off early as long as we're winning. Strange to see Kolasinac starting since the rumor was his contract had been terminated.
