Follistatin has been around forever. I didn't really notice much on Follistatin 344. Jay has his new one he charged a fortune for that was almost criminal. But he has a cult like following that will get a second mortgage to pay Jays prices lol. So I guess all power to him.

They did some albumin binder thing that was supposed to increase the half life.

I have a few vials of his I've yet to try. Jay did a fire sale on some so I bought some. He was charging thousands for it before.

I'm in a few groups with folks that have run FLGR and Slim Assist, and some that are currently trialing it. They've had pretty good results on it.

I have some vials of the Slim Assist that I got when they were closing them out a month or so ago. I'm gonna give it a run probably after the first of the year after I finish up some other stuff.

I feel a little more energy on the lipo b12 but not much. I take liquid L-Carnitine never used a shot.

Hunter's AI bot is pretty good too. I use both of them to compare

What are the opinions of the boards on BP-157 pills vs. injections.

I have some triceps tendon issues that I want to get repaired quickly.

Go with the shot. You can inject it around the area. The pills are great for gut issues because they dissolve into the gut and doesn't travel where you need it to go.

I need a hookup for some hard to find special peptides, if someone could drop an email or cellphone number I'd appreciate it.

For those that do dexa how much do you trust it? Do you just use it to track progress or do you think it's accurate?

I'm pretty sure it is the most accurate way to measure body fat. I trust my results from my scan.

When it comes to body fat, I honestly don't care whether the scale is off, as long as it accurately shows trends.

Check-in

Height: 6.2
Weight start (June 1): 232 lb
Current weight (Oct 13): 218lb, but been down to 214 before vacation

Regimen:
Gym 4/5x a week
Started TRT (sub 300, up to mid 500s)
Reta: Up to 3.0 weekly
Tesa/Ipa: took these daily for first 1.5 months and then cycled off. Wanted to see what happened. Noticed recovery was slower, but more weight did come off. Guessing water weight.

Pros:
-Brain fog gone
-Noticeably stronger
-Noticeable muscle gain
-Noticeable pump while working out vs giving up
-Waist has shrunk
-Libido was never a problem, but would say it is higher
-Portion size is down when I eat
-People have noticed a change in my appearance
-blood work is best its been in a long time
-slowly titrating off anti-depressant (10mg daily lexapro down to 2.5 mg every other day)

Cons:
-Reta has helped some with food noise, but does not solve drinking appetite like for some people. I can causally drink and throw them back when I want. (My biggest hang up in progress)
-Mentally thought body fat would be lower, but also didn't think I was starting in the >90% at 34% body fat
-Been on 3, week long vacations in this time with no access to gym, lots of cheat meals/drinking which clearly have only set me back. (I would equate this to 1 step forward and 1.5 steps back for each week)
-Wife says I may be overly assertive/parenting style has gotten more aggressive (TRT). I can feel it a little but I also was lethargic and passive before, which I heard about about so she can pick her poison.

All in all, yes I am seeing progress. I 100% believe TRT works and don't know if I can ever stop. Reta I am 75% confident, but going to keep going because I have 5 months supply. Curious to see how Tesa/Ipa impact as my baseline was nothing before, so I didn't know what was supporting overall improvements. Cycling those back on starting tonight and will assess this quarter.

July 1 baseline to October 1 check in per Dexa. Will do my next scan Feb 1.

I used to think it was great, but now I'm pretty meh on it.

It's still the "best" tool we have, but the accuracy can vary from session to session, and that's mainly dependent on your hydration level. Assuming you can keep the same level of hydration for each test, then it's pretty great at tracking the trends.

Started at 100mg/ml and now120mg/ml... how about you? Last blood work was about 1.5 months ago so it could be higher than the 550 now.

I started at 200mg and am now at 300. I have not had my blood tested since I went from 200 to 300 but was at 1400 trough and 1700 peak last test.

Well... At 300/week, no wonder you're at 2000.

I mean, I got up to 2900 total, 700 free... but I was taking 350/week. Make no mistake though, that's not TRT.

Can't say I notice any kind of difference from 100 to 120. Overall net positive being on it.

My hematocrit was getting a little high so I need to donate. Maybe that's her hesitation in going higher right away.

Y'all need to keep a super close eye on your PSA on high TRT doses, and hair loss

Yeah, the clinic I'm at is taking 9 vials of blood every 4-6 weeks. I've never known so much about my labs before in my life

Don't jump to donate just because your HCT is high. There are lots of things you can do to mitigate it without donating, and donating just creates a negative feedback loop in your body that ultimately depletes your ferritin and increases your HCT.

How high is your HCT?

And what is your injection frequency, daily hydration level, and weekly cardio load (specifically zone 2)?

I know it's been discussed some here but how does everyone sort through the reliability of sources? The compounding pharmacies that are regulated certainly charge a heavy premium. Seems like people trust peptide plugs but what are the best ways to verify suppliers? The COAs and all the certificates are posted on various sites but internet sellers can be misleading and manipulate the research only loophole. Has anyone actually sent anything off for testing? Or what do you do to make sure you're not getting bad vials?
