Weird how things affect people differently. HGH helps me sleep. It's BPC that I had to start taking in the morning.

I had to switch Tesa to mornings. It kept me up. Made me wired and couldn't fall asleep.

I was using Wolverine+ for a while and really liked it. After PT when my knee was swollen and tender an evening injection would reduce the swelling within an hour. Using KLOW now for the added GHK

Any one recommend a Tirz dosage progression? I did Reta a few months ago but got off bc it killed my runs. I handled the Reta well except for the elevated heart rate.
Is this a good progression to follow?

That's the research protocol. Personally I would start at 2.5 mg and then titrate up based on how you feel or what results you're seeing, not necessarily based on a time frame (except I wouldn't go faster).

Yes, that's the standard protocol. It has a better hunger suppression than Reta. Good luck.

Most of the professional MD say stay at that dose until you basically plateau then move up.

Thanks. Want to try it a few months to finish what I started with Reta.

Don't be in a rush. Those are the clinical doses for people either with diabetes or pre-diabetes. Slow and steady wins the race. Increase your dose slowly until you find a good balance of appetite supression but still being able to eat. Get your protein in and lift in the gym, heavy, often.

For sure, I did ipa/tesa and never slept so well, so was expecting that to continue but it was awful. Tough to fall asleep, crazy dreams, waking up every hour or so.

Oh for sure. I workout more than most. Just eat like an ******* when I travel for work. Biggest change i need to work on is my protein intake.

You're among equals mate. I'm about to do 3 weeks without my retatrutide where I won't really have a ton of options in terms of food, going to be an adventure!

Anybody else on TRT? I had a dude at my office who is 70 and looks 50 tell he was on Test, and I decided to give it a shot.

My test and free testosterone were low-normal at 505 and 93, but they put me on 200mg/ week and it has been magic.

I've been on it for 2 months and can't believe how well it has worked.

I had not lifted weights for 5 years before this, and just in the 2 months I've been on it, along with tirzepatide and creatine, and I've dropped 50 pounds, and have a body fat percentage approaching average (I'm at 37% on the dexa scan). And my muscles are coming back faster than I'd thought possible. Obviously I'm still fat, but am at least looking slightly less doughboy than just two months before

Is this the new fountain of youth?

No.

5 years without lifting means a person is completely detrained.

2 months in, you're experiencing the classic "newbie gains" that come due to starting from scratch. You'll likely experience this phase for another few months, up to a year-ish.

Congrats on the weight loss! That has to feel great.

Purchased GHK-CU- what are you dosing. I am reading daily at 2mg a day for 30 days. then rest. I see a different one that says 2-3 mg a day 3 days a week. Is this right?

What are yall doing?

Since I have it in a 50/10/10 GLOW mix, I'm doing 2.5 mg per day (also works out to 0.5 mg of BPC and TB each per day).

I think you can run it for months at a time without cycling. Have seen doses all the way up to 5mg daily.

I'm running 4 mg now. 2.5 GHK-Cu, .5 BPC, .5 TB, .5 KPV.

First off ghk-cu is great. One of my favorites. I didn't see real progress and changes until 10 weeks in of nightly use at 2mg. I run 12 weeks on then at least 4 weeks off when I do it

How long do you notice the benefits when cycling off? I just past 10 weeks.

I'm on TRT. I was sub 200 T. Makes a difference with mood, libido, etc. I still have to work on my diet and alcohol but it certainly helps with lifting also.

Please get bloodwork done routinely. What I've noticed is that my hematocrit creeps up on TRT. I have had high blood pressure since my 20s and having thicker blood is not good for that. My Clinic offers phlebotomies (blood dump) which I have to have since I can't give blood because I had hepatitis as a 16-year-old. But you can also give blood to get your Hct down.

My T is severely low but LH also low, looking potentially at enclomiphine first.

Going off alcohol completely is a game changer. I'm in better shape than I was starting college. Quitting alcohol is a huge reason.

Also I didn't have a drinking problem. I had problems when I drank. I would go months without drinking but then when I did drink it wasn't pretty.

I just had a knee replacement yesterday. I'm off alcohol and nicotine. I had developed a nasty little 3 mg Zyn habit but I quit both before the surgery and have to keep off of it while I heal.

I may use this as an excuse to get off both for good. I've done months without drinking, usually once a year. Life is so much better without it. Boring, but better. I get so bored, I do stuff like fix the things I need to fix or install a new shower.

Then I'm always like, I'm good. I'll just have a beer now that I have so much self control. A month later, I'm back to drinking just a little bit too much for my own good and occasionally way too much and am hungover all day.

My alcohol consumption is WAY down since I started on reta.

Used to be a couple glasses of wine almost every night. Now most days I don't drink anything at all.

Didn't make any effort to drink less... most of the time it just never occurs to me to have anything.

Absolutely, they take my blood every 6 weeks or they won't write me a new scrip. 9 vials each time, but I've never known more about my body than I do now.

Exact same, I may have a drink Friday or Saturday night.....whereas it used to be at least a few beers EVERY night of the week with large uptick on the weekends. Has been an incredible side benefit I didn't expect from low dose RETA.
Coates
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Same, reta does reduce alcohol 'cravings '. So if you're on reta and reduced alcohol intake you're kind of getting a 2 for 1.

Also drinking on reta reduces its effects, read your body is forced to metabolize alcohol vs fat/carbs.

Due for an update:

I am 2 months into TRT. Age 37. Started at 300.

2 month blood work is 550 / 158 free. They just bumped me to 120mg a week from 100mg. Hematocrit up and need to donate once in next 3 months. Is 120mg vs 100mg even going to move the mark?

Overall, It's a game changer. Brain fog gone, motivation to go to gym and get through sets is incredible. Wife has said I am more assertive/libido even higher (which she isn't a total fan of, but she didn't like the lethargy either so beggars can't be choosers).

-2 months into Reta (up to 2.5mg week. 1.25 each time)
-Cycled off tesa/ipa after 7 weeks and about to jump back on after 3 weeks off. (Surprisingly down weight during this hiatus? Anyone have a theory?)
-Cycled down on Lexapro from 10mg to 5mg (as mood has improved and brain fog has gone.) This might help with weight loss some as I did it during 3 weeks off.
-Gym 4-5x week which was zilch before. I am getting after it.

Been on two big cheat weeks as well with heavy (edit to maybe "crappy" eating/ but heavy drinking, which 100% has set me back some. (Reta helped a little but I could still go to town. Maybe if on higher dose this would be different?)

Start weight: 232
Current: 219

Thoughts: I don't know how much the peptides are helping vs straight TRT/time in at the gym. I may have noticed more soreness on my three weeks off of tesa/ipa. I would say appetite is slightly depressed, but like I said, I can still go to town on guys trip and family vacay. Will keep increasing Reta dose slowly until I find my sweet spot.

As discussed in post before, I know I'm putting on muscle so another Dexa mid Oct will tell me how I am really progressing after 4 months. Waist is shrinking, definition showing up.

Glad I found this forum because I feel like I could kick someone's ass on the street again if I needed to.

First off, congrats! That's a lot of progress. Weight reduction while off Tesa may be because Tesa causes some mild water retention, maybe that retention is gone.

I think you're doing a great thing reducing the Lexapro. If you can eventually get off of that altogether, great, if not, no worries. You're probably seeing the most impact from the increased test but the peptides are definitely doing their thing. 113 lbs down is freaking incredible, just keep doing what you're doing.

Well done.

I get mine through a compounding pharmacy called Striker. Not sure if you can order it direct or you have to go through someone.

I do a program I found through my gym. They provide guidance and management for a monthly fee and they're the ones that order my stuff. They manage a couple of my drugs as well, not only peptides.

Way to go buddy! Keep it up. Next step will be to get your wife on board!

Get her hormones optimized and she won't be complaining about your increased libido!

Being off ipa/tesa and losing some weight in the scale is definitely water weight. And yes recovery isn't as great without GH support.

Keep it up and can't wait to hear about your continued success. You're doing all the right things.
