My mother in law is 10 years younger and has Alzheimer's and is living in a home now because she couldn't function at the house with FIL. I think some of her issues are related to taking a statin since she was 33 years old… seems like there is some correlation with those two.

Can't speak for Alzheimer's but they have both been game changers for me on a cognitive level.

Figured I would share these biomarker results compared to last month, pretty excited about the trend.

Monthly testing with Rythm Health, 6-weeks into my peptide research, I'm 46 years old for reference:

  • Weight went from 214 to 206 lbs
  • Cholesterol went from 218 to 187 mg/dl
  • Testosterone went from 643 to 853 ng/dl (not on TRT)
  • Free Test went from 84.9 to 130.54 ng/dl
The list goes on but essentially every metabolic marker improved.

Peptide stack includes:
  • Reta (0.5 mg twice a week)
  • Tesa (1 mg M-F)
  • MOTS-c (2 mg M/W/F)
  • NAD+ (60 mg M/W/F)
  • BPC-157/TB-500 (0.5 mg ea M-F)
Feeling better, stronger and happier than I have in longer than I can remember.

Just crossed over 30 lbs down so that's cool. Baseline was 225 on 5/21.

That's great, really impressive changes in free test, I would have thought that would take longer. I've got my 12-week follow-up bloodwork scheduled for next week and have lost 36 lbs since the last draw with consistent dieting, resistance training, liss/hiit cardio, weekly 36-48 hr fasts, and the same stack. I've been nervous that nothing will meaningfully change, so it's great to see that kind of result is possible in a short timeframe.

Thanks, Huey! That's pretty incredible progress over three months, well done. If you've lost 36 lbs I'm willing to bet your bloodwork is going to come back much improved.

As far as the free-T jump I experienced, Grok is telling me it's due to my decrease in SHBG (-11%). SHBG binds testosterone and keeps it inactive. When total T rises and SHBG falls, free T rises pretty drastically. The lower SHBG is attributed to fat loss, better insulin sensitivity, heavy training, less alcohol and better sleep.

Good stuff!

Looking for some additional resources or people y'all follow in the peptide world. I've watched a lot of Hunter Williams stuff but was just seeing what's out there.

I am on Josh Holyfield's skool community which has a staggering amount of info and deep dives on peptides, supplements, nutrition, training, mindset, and even anabolics if you are interested in that.

Also, if you don't mind really nerding out, youtube channel "bioavailable" does very deep dives on peptides that I find extremely interesting

I'm in the Skool community too. Very informative. I use that to cross reference the other ones.

Thanks for posting. I'm postop day 14 on a total knee replacement and am about to start BPC and TB. I didn't want to start until I was out of the woods with pain and got some movement.

I currently can only bend my knee about 45 degrees and walk with a cane.

Keep us updated on your progress.

Currently on Day 13 of BPC 157/TB 500 Blend at 500 mcg per dose, once daily. I just ordered another vial of BPC/TB + KPV 30 ML vial. I plan to up my dose to closer to 1000 mcg daily once this vial comes in and continue thru 7+ weeks. Still no major changes, but have started to notice a little relief early on after morning injections, possibly placebo effect lol.

Day 1: 500 mcg at bedtime
Day 2: 500 mcg at bedtime
Day 3: 500 mcg at bedtime
Day 4: 1000 mcg in morning (Only day i felt noticeably different.)
Day 5: 1000 mcg in morning

2 Days off

Day 6: 1000 mcg in morning
Day 7: 500 mcg in morning
Day 8: 500 mcg in morning
Day 9: 500 mcg in morning
Day 10: 500 mcg in morning

I know some people take it both morning and night, which may be a good tactic when you bump up to 1000/day.

I've heard great things about KPV but haven't had a chance to research that one yet. I have a KPV/GHK-Cu blend that I'm looking to cycle once my 8-week Wolverine routine ends next week. I see that most people use KPV and/or GHK-Cu at the same time as BPC-157/TB-500 as they compliment each other.

You'll have to report back here in a few weeks and give an update.
ShawnTxAg

I think i will split it up to 2x daily. Ill report back in a few weeks.
AgEng06

Yeah, I would definitely up it to 1 mg per day each of BPC/TB and 500 mcg of KPV. Splitting it morning and evening is good, and add the KPV in at night.

Also in this situation, for treating an acute injury, I would run it 7 days a week rather than 5 on/2 off. You aren't going to run into receptor desensitization that quickly and you want this fixed ASAP. (unless injecting 7 days just doesn't fit your schedule, of course.)
ShawnTxAg
How long do you want to ignore this user?

It would fit my schedule. Only issue is its the blend already not seperate peptides. So dosing gets muddled
AgEng06

What blend do you have? We can figure it out.
ShawnTxAg

30 Mg BPC/TB/KPV Blend. I'll reconstitute with BAC accordingly, only issue is deciding how much BAC to use.

What's the recommended reconstitution/dose for Selank/Semax 20 mg blend?
AgEng06
How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
I assume that's a 10/10/10 blend?

If so, you'll be fine doing 1 mg of KPV per day as well. I would reconstitute with 2 mL of BAC, then 10 units will give you 500 mcg of each peptide. Inject 10 units AM and 10 units PM for 1 mg of each per day.

Semax and Selank are usually 1 mg doses.

So assuming your 20 mg blend is 10/10, then 1 mL of BAC would give you 10 units per dose and 2 mL of BAC would give you 20 units per dose.

That's the blend I used and exactly how I dosed for my ruptured patella rehab. 500mcg of each AM and 500mcg ea. again PM for 12 weeks. I would get reduced swelling (very noticeable on my PT days) within an hour of injecting, I assume it was the KPV in the blend doing that. I wasn't in good shape by any stretch but was consistently told that my progress was ahead of schedule on the repair

Starting down this path and have read this entire thread. What I can't find is what exactly needs to be looked at for blood work before starting this thing? Get I need to get that done but what is the ask of either my doc or a testing place?

I did mine at GoodLabs and then took it to my doctor for an appt.

Just do the big Men's full panel. If you are considering something with growth hormone, add the IGF-1 panel too.

My referral link (20% off for you and me) My referral code is HA94Y1 if that link doesn't work for some reason.

Did this and did the appt at Quest then uploaded it to MyChart for my PCP. You could also ask your doctor to write an order for something like that, but I felt like it was less complicated to just order what I wanted instead of going through insurance.

You want a baseline. Guess you can ask your doctor or there are a bunch of providers now with this wave of folks trying to be better informed of their health. I have been considering trying one called Function.

Private Md you can pick your labs and go to lab quest or wherever. We do rhythm now. It's way cheaper, faster and better. You do it yourself at home and they have a label they give you. The actual test is like a button that sticks to your arm with a tube. You push the button and then it collects in the tube. Results in 3 days or less.

We had several nightmares trying to go through insurance. Rhythm is like $79 for a work up.

Reta question:

I read the whole thread and there are some anecdotes but I wanted to ask specifically about weight loss timeline.

I have read elsewhere that the first four weeks is largely water weight and then next few weeks areas like arms, legs and face follow. But, it can be several months before the stubborn belly fat starts to fall away.

What have you all experienced on timeline?

I'm about 4 months in and I've gone from 172 when I started to 149 as of this morning. Pretty much just Reta, Tesa and lifting weights. BF% went from 21 to 10 in that time too. It was maybe 4-5 days in and weights dropped quick and has plateaued the last 2ish weeks, but this is about where I want to be for my upcoming marathon.
